I happen to be a person who don't mind rain; I'd like to imagine myself running out to the porch at the sound of the first drizzle, inhaling a grateful breath of that familiar fresh rain-scent. And when the sky finally breaks open in a torrential shower, I settle myself into my old, reliable porch chair, all ready with a book and a cup of hot, sweet tea in my hands. At that moment, all my worries and sadness are washed clean away by the sound of the rain.

This video is like taking sleeping pills through my ears. I have not been able to sleep for a very long time. I found this video, put headphones on, put it on full screen as I watch videos through my 50" tv. I was out and slept for 10 hours without waking up. I finally am feeling great again as far as getting sleep. Thank you so much for this beautiful video. The UK is beautiful. I never been there, most likely never will as my age and poor health. Again thank you so much. I posted this on my social media.

Ivanhoe ॐ I highly doubt she keeps it on throughout the night. It’s quite insulting to suggest something as obvious as that could be costing her sleep, tbh. (My aunt is in a similar situation, with a compromised immune system, and her insomnia is a huge source of stress in her household. Should I tell her to just watch less TV? Listen to fewer audiobooks? As if she hasn’t been prescribed chemo drugs, the NHS has no waiting lists. My heart truly goes out to you, Ranwolfalfa - having to sacrifice your pension to pay medical bills isn’t something you should have to do.)

This reminds me of my first visit to Glastonbury , i sat in the gardens at Chalice Well and drank the water , the peace and calmness there was just so beautiful , the place has something magical about it , it just leaves you so happy and calm , there's a definite vibe coming from this place .

I wish I could be there, I’d lay outside with some cover and just gaze for hours and nap, omgosh it would be the most peaceful thing in the world. Hey Steve 😊 Definitely worth a visit! If Glastonbury is calling you, you’ll know! We even collect water from a spring at the base of the Tor too. We don’t live here all year round as we’re in Australia for a few months of the year but it’s always so nice to come back to. ✌️🍃💫

Andrew, Europe has many beautiful places and England is barely one of them. I would suggest to you Sweden or Norway, as the weather is similar and nature is much more impressive.

@@cfrandre8319 Yes, but there is some beauty in that as well. And it is well compensated by amazing nature. Just check how those fjords in Norway or lakes in Sweden look. And the dark and coldness are, depending on the exact location, 3-5 months of the year, rewarded by beautiful summer and spring.

So relaxing and beautiful....
We saw the Tor from a distance while driving to London from the South to catch our flight back to the States. The closer we got the more captivated we were and decide to stop in the town and hike up. We knew nothing about history but it was calling for us to come to see. It wasn't until years later I stumbled upon a photo of the Tor in a history book and read the lore connected to it. There's a goddess inside the mound! I am soo glad we stopped. Amazing place!

England's mountains green. :) Beautiful scenery, and beautiful sound. It has just the right amount of thunder to me: soft and not too frequent. (I don't like rain videos where the thunder is booming every other second, it ruins the white noise effect for me. I much prefer a distant murmur, like this.)

Bloody brilliant ! Definitely helps me sleep. Cuts outs out all other noise as well i.e. snoring partner. Love Glastonbury as well. We used to have a caravan in Somerset and would always spend a day in the town. Fish and chips for lunch then a walk round the Abby where our girls could run around the grounds when they were little ones. Cheers.

Reading the description I had to look at the screen again, and, what!? That IS an actual place. This is so beautiful. When inviting guests over, I can see myself plugging my laptop into the TV and just having this on as the background let alone helping me to get to sleep.
