I don't shoot that much handgun anymore, however I really enjoy it and I try to work on my pistol skills every now and then since I don't want them to be stangnant.
Despite shooting PCC for the most time, Austrian IPSC Production and Production Optics Nationals are one of those pistol matches I actually care about, so I took some time to prepare, even tho it wasn't that extensive. I focused on trigger manipulation, recoil control and indexing for the most part and it seemed to help. Looking back at the footage I shot at a faster pace than I felt I was during the match. Even if the shooting didn't feel as controlled and clean as in practice, hits and performance was pretty good for the most part and I had a pretty good feeling afterwards, considering the circumstances.
However, I wouldn't belive I actually won until I actually saw the scores, since there was some serious competition. It's unreal, but it's awesome!

Production Nationals are on their way, so we'll see how I do with iron sights again and with even more serious competetive shooters hungry for the victory.
The match itself was run very well, despite beeing under even more restictive measures than the last match at the SCW Club. They did a awesome job and deserve a great deal of gratitude and respect.
