PSA: This video contains sub-optimal levels of editing, enough to get it done. We have zero script beyond the questions people have sent in. Hi Sabrina and Spencer. I too love your 6119. Regarding the 7a28 7040 people on the lookout for one should be aware of the 7a28 7049. I have the latter, which appears identical to the 7040. I've had mine since 1985 and wore it daily for 30 years. I was thinking about replacing it with a Fossil when a coworker said that the watch had some significance. I researched it, kept it, and started down the path of Seikology.
For me thunderstorms remind me of Bohemian Rhapsody "thunder and lightning, very very frightening...".

Just also watching the All Blacks v Fiji playing at Snapdragon Stadium San Diego. Still kicking myself for selling of my fathers 6119 sports watch he actually purchased it from the duty free shop at the Fiji airport in the early 70’s. I’m still shaking because my arm was shaking around having fun times. Regards from New Zealand 🇳🇿 P.S I love my Y514 diver and lots of rain Downunder here too.
Crazy hot here in the Netherworlds, over 70 Fahrenheit... My coffee tree is in bloom, that hot, I park it in the garden from June to October usually, the rest of the year it is parked in the living room...First time it is in bloom, must be the weather..

When you mentioned the Ash Tray I thought of another Seiko with an ash tray look, the 6119-8040. Mine is a beautiful proof/proof from August 1974. I recall that you did a review on one you got in for service. I think this is the first 70m sport diver, arguable only since it has a fixed, non-numeric bezel.

Hi, Thanks for the comment mention, I have a few 6119 sport divers and found finding a blue one in good condition took a while. I have a silver dial beater and a minty gold one but not an elusive green one, and the full four in the range of black, proof big crown, proof small crown, resist small crown and no text small crown.
I need a crown for a Big-Crown 6119-6020 variant as The parts one I have has a snapped stem in the crown, I tried dissolving it out but Seiko stems are stainless.If anyone has one msg back Thanks.
Wrist check, was wearing my Pulsar, just had anew battery put in, runs like a charm again, not wearing it now I got eaten by gnats while watching the Moon :( Itching all over..
There were meteors in the news yeah, and lightning can go up too..
