First of all, I love the video, you have a great style of presenting so I'm gonna sub. I'm looking to replace my awesome Huawei Mate 20 X phone but I'm not sure the Magic6 Pro is a fraction of the price of a Samsung or iPhone, it's on offer at the mo for £850 (or £875 with a charger and case) so it's pretty much up there with the big boys on price. However, the battery on this seems to be better than the Samsung and I don't want to move to iOS so there don't seem to be many decent alternatives. I did look at the Nubia Z50 (I think it's called) but they're hard to get hold of in the UK. anyway, I'm only 2lm30 into your review so I'll go watch the rest lol
Thanks very much. Huawei make great phones I had one before the whole Google restrictions. Which is a massive shame. Hopefully they can get the Google stuff back with no work arounds. I looked at base s24 ultra is 1250 that's a whole chunk of change? I'd prefer to save that money. Appreciate the comment though and thanks for watching 👍🏾. Hopefully get my hands on other alternatives and hope to be able to review other phones, fingers crossed.
I bought the HM6P in epi green and definitely recommend it. Also Nubia sell the z60 ultra on there own website in the UK for about £750
I'm gonna have to look into this z60. A lot of people have been speaking about it, love to get my hands on one
@@JustStephen89 I was tempted but 3 years software support wasn't enough for me, that's why I went for honor and 4 years android & 5 years security updates, I'd say go for the honor it's a great phone and easy to hold, the nubia was a bit to boxy for my liking
All the top smart phones are getting better and closing the gap, but for me I have the samsung s22 ultra and in pro mode the videos and photos are very hard to beat, another great video 👌
I've not fully used the pro camera features on the Honor as yet. I've used them a couple of times and like it but still need to get in depth with it. I agree though camera phones are getting better year on year 👍🏾

I wouldn't say it's worth it just for the camera, it's a great phone but the camera alone isn't worth the upgrade. The battery is worth it though, so battery improvements, camera and speed is a worthy upgrade.. hope it helps
Wished this device support motioncam pro however huawei is notorious for not supporting third party apps.
It's not not Huawei though, it's honor. I've not installed it so I don't no but it does show up in the app store for me to download

This phone will be an absolute monster after a couple of software updates. Also, the value is too irresistible to pass up on.
I'd always say, never buy something that promises to be great after updates because you can get stung. If you play any games you know about cyberpunk. Get it if it's good now and will only get better and I think this phone is that. It will only improve with updates and it's got a very solid base 👍🏾

After 8.0.0.148 my bateri is 10 h sot,and stil have 25% baterry best battery ever
Yeh this is by far the best battery life on a phone ever. It's great.
On mine it got a bit worst on 148, on 128 i was having nearly 3 days without charging, it was insane since i was used to get one!
Best camera of 2024? Bro never heard of Vivo,Oppo or Xiaomi lol
The last phone I had was a Xiaomi 13t pro.. so I've heard and tested that phone and can say that quite confidently. But it is an opinion. Yours may well be different and that's fine too
@@JustStephen89 Xiaomi 13t pro is a higher midrange phone brother, of course switching to a flagship like Honor Magic 6 pro will be impressive when it comes to hardware and photography, but comparing it with the other flagships from other brands the camera from Honor is just not that good
Have you used the Honor camera? Or the alternatives? I think you'll find there a lot lot closer than you think? A lot of top tier phone cameras this year are impressive so it is very much subjective anyway.
I had Samsung s24 U , Honor Magic 6 pro and one Plus 12. Amongst all 3, HM6P was the best phone. Samsung was boring, the camera wasn't as good as what other CZcamsrs say, it was annoying it was taking shitty videos and photographs on Telegram and other apps. I sent it away, one 12 was also annoying with the battery drainage and it just didn't fell right to use it as a long term device. I sent honor back as well cause Nova Launcher wasn't working on it as I wanted. Apart from that, everything was perfect. I am still trying to find an alternative for my Huawei P30 pro. So believe him if he says it's a good phone. Trust me too. I had it
It is one of the best cameras of 2024 so far! On top of that, if you consider the overall device it is the one of the best if not the best you get get this year, you have no downsides to it! About the brands you mentioned, sure, they are good as well but Oppo you have to import the Chinese version with all the downsides and image processing that naturally pleases more the chinese consumer, vivo global version is only available in very few countries and hard to get as well, Xiaomi, sure, it has great cameras, but the overall device is getting a lot of criticism about overheating, foggy lens, etc...
