Is nobody going to talk about how he somehow caught the wild Raikou in a Pokeball with no Razz or Golden Razz? The odds on that are brutal.

As far I know, wild legendaries were only catched at first attempt or they ran away. One friend of mine catched a level 1 Suicune, which is amazing.

I feel like ppl were sweating too hard and expecting 50+ shinies, I didn’t rlly have much expectations and I found it rllly fun and not too stressful or overwhelming

I GOT 60 SOMEHOW WITH A CORSOLA IN 5 RAIDS AND NOBODY ELSE EVEN CAME CLOSE TO THAT. I had lots of fun lmao
I didn’t get ANYTHING so yeah won’t be spending much time on Pokémon go anymore I put the whole 12 hours in no lie and it sucked bad this game made it stressful fuck this game lol

Had an amazing event! 39 shinies, but the big wins were: Wild shiny Raikou, wild shiny Gloom, Wild shiny Golbat, shiny Woobuffet (I have silver version), hatched Shiny Pichu and shiny Heracross!

I had a great but very exhausting Johto Tour by my own expectations. Caught twelve shinies including Ho-oh and Lugia! Even was in a remote raid with JTGily and pokeAK!
How many Ho Oh and Lugia raids did you do

I played and grind the entire time , from 9am to 9pm …..I got one teddiursla with zero stars and one shiny slowpoke but he was a 3star …..I literally didn’t see any other shinies just those 2 I was highly disappointed but I did get legendaries
I was out from 9-9 and got 21 new shinies,traveled to two parks(Humboldt and Lincoln wood) and yeah it was so fun but the challenges and special field research where hard to accomplish while still trying to catch pokemon.but all in all fun
Wish it had Pokémon encounters for field research it was just 500 dust or balls and stuff like that
I straight up did 24 Lugia raids with boosted odds for a shiny, didn’t get one, my mom on the other hand got it on her second raid

Got 32 shinies yesterday. Suicune and Raikou were both ‘one and done’ in the first half hour of the event! Was able to snag shinies of remoraid, girafarig and phanpy, plus a bunch of others that I didn’t have. No Corsola or Heracross though.

Shinies were pretty hard to come by. In 8 ¹/² hours, I mustered 6 plus a perfect natu. Also didn't see any wild legendaries. The event sucked.

I didn't pay but it was the best event I've ever had I got 6 shinies (Eevee, Natu, Entei, Lillipup, Scyther, Pineco) and I also got a 2880 CP Tiranitar.

Event was dope. Was by the piers in SF caught 36 shiny's & completed all the task. Played the whole day & I can say it was exhausting but worth it
The gym leaders spawned at pokestops where the blue cube was shaking (some as with rocket grunts except without the black shadow)...
I ended up with 8 shinies and 1 shiny exeggutor the day after! My favorite shiny is definitely the wild SHINY Suicune that i found!
I was out all day. Attempting to walk on the sheet of ice that covered most of the sidewalks. I got 14 shiny but only 2 of them were new. I was bummed.

Played through this event with one of my friends. We do not really talk anymore but the Johto tour was truly a memorable experience. I hope next years tour is as amazing as that one.
During this event I caught two Tyranitars, Shiny Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Raikou, Unown, Heracross, and Corsola

Mystic7 I hope you and everyone had a great event. I missed out on 2 shinies I really wanted because I wanted to see the sparkle so I'm sad but I still had fun got alot of shinies I didn't have. Looking forward for CD for shinies we don't have.

Honestly this event really screwed me over BIG TIME. I played from 9am-8pm and only caught 4 shinies (Delibird, Phanphy, Onix, and the guaranteed Gyrados). I caught over 300 Pokémon through the event and won over 30 raids and still NO LEGENDARY SHINIES. Super frustrated by this event, but perhaps I am just that unlucky. Actually, I know I am. FML
Yep, same here. I played 8 hours, grinding like a champ, and caught 3 shiny. 2 of which I already had alot of. Most disappointing paid ticket event ever.
I got 5 including the ugly red fish but my friend without a ticket got both legendaries on the first raids and a full odds Girafarig.

I got a whopping 41 shinies! I got quite a few doubles though, 4 shiny porygons, 4 shiny swinubs, 2 shiny girafarig 3 shiny wobufetts, 3 shiny seadras, 2 shiny hoothoots, 2 shiny marills and 3 shiny snubbulls and a load of single ones too! Hope everyone had fun and I wish you all the best for the next event

27 shinies during johto (one of them being unown u). Friday before johto a shiny Ho-oh first ever. Then today ,Sunday a 100% Magikarp followed by a shiny Alolan Exeggutor so all in all very happy with the Johto Tour.
The trainers were in pokestops. They didn't show on the screen at the stop but when you spin the stop they randomly pop up after spinning it.
Had to work until 4 during the event but ended up with 29 shinies including a Corsola and a remoraid so not too bad

The cindaquill that I chose from the professor was a hundo! Got a phanpy ✨ And got a shiny entei from the reaserch! And 9 shines in total
The shiny wabbuffet was my first shiny, i evolved to it after hatching when i didnt know what shinies were
I even caught a shiny Suicune in the wild, and even crazier I caught a shiny Raikou in the wild and got a second shiny Raikou from the snapshot encounter research.
Same I also got a shiny suicune in the wild and didn’t catch it until 3rd ball
i got the one shiny i always wanted during Johto tour: Larvitar and i evolved it immediately to Tyranitar

I’ve got shiny larvitar but I NEVER ever find larvitar sunless it’s from team rocket so I can evolve to a tyranitar 😭
It was stressful trying to get through all the research. Only 10 shinies for the day which included the gyrados. Worked on the research until 10:30pm I ran out of eevee’s trying to evolve to espeon and umbreon. I’m still working on the Masterwork research. The one good thing is made new friends and received Pokémon in trade that don’t spawn in my area.
I played 5 hours casually and got 6 shinies and got some of my favorites like Mantine, Spinarak, Remoraid, Entei from Raid! Totodile which is my favorite starter, and Sunkern. Super Happy!

This event is the best thing that ever happened to me!
I didn't find any shinies but I found entei, raikou and suicuine in the wild and they didn't flee even though it took like 4 to 6 times to catch each one

Ive been to Downtown Disney (at around middle march) ans YESSS it has such amazing spawns and spawn rates
in that event i caught a over 3000 cp tyranitar and and cought a entei which was in the wild which was also incidentally the only 1 of those roaming i saw
39 shinies with silver including 3 sudowoodos that my son called “mystic7 shinies” 😂 He got 32 on gold. We enjoyed the day!

@@guilhermecoelho948 You are are like me then. I cant stand it when people say they got so many shiny. I played nearly the whole time, used over 1000 poke balls and got 11 shiny, all of which I'd caught before. Nothing new :(
I missed the same collection challenge and research as you. A lot of people were complaining about the lack of trainer battle spawns
The irony is that last year people complained there were too many trainer battles.
@@BrattyNerdGirl well the problem was that there was a research quest for it and none were spawning so nobody could complete it. That and there were like 10 different trainer battles and most people could only find like 5. I only found 2..

I just started playing in October and this event was insane for me! I still can’t believe I caught 25 shinys just sitting at home! My noob self finally reached 80 shinys! Hope all is well for anyone reading this
I walked around for almost the whole 12 hours with go plus and hand catching the ones I cared about and got 13. Still happy. I got a 98% shiny Pichu from an egg. No hundos but a belossom ultra league rank #1 which I'll use at some point. Only mad at the research tasks as I couldn't comple the magical leaf celibi one on time since pokestops decided to stop giving me field research for the last 4hours of the event

My johto tour sucked. I got 4 shinies total. The first Pokémon I clicked on then nothing until the very end!

I loved this event! So much fun. i caught 57 shinys and did 2716 catches during that event.

I ended with 17 shinies, not too bad. My game was super glitchy so I missed like 2-3 hours worth of game time but I'm not complaining cause I had fun with my group

I also missed 3 hrs of the event but yeah it was great to hangout with my Pokémon group and just play Pokémon all day, but boi was it killer towards the end of the night, I don’t think I would’ve handled the 3 extra hrs I missed, I Loved This Event can’t wait for the next one and December 2 day com days

At the end of the day when I thought I wasn't going to get one, I got a wild shiny Houndour 1053CP and 92iv which was 14 for attack, 14 for defense, and 13 for hp

Considering I had to pay for the event, and the amount of tasks to complete, this should have lasted at least a week. I ended up having to work, so I was limited on a lot. 12 hours was definitely not enough time. At least give us a few days at 12 hours a day, like GoFest. 🤦♂️Not happy. Got 9 shinies. 7 of which were new to me. So at least I got that going for me. 🤷♂️
the event ticket was released like in December though. personally I had plenty of time and booked my work off lol. went out from 9-9
also completed most of the tasks minus the final gym challenge but still got 8/11
@Ben Piatkowski my point exactly. You took vacation and still couldn't complete everything. It was a big event. At least give us 12 hours across 2 days. 🤷♂️

Congratulations for what you got, but this event not too much fun for me.. Coz I don't get shiny ladyba from incense, and just 9 shiny.. the shiny rate was low for me, I paid ticket for this event.. 😑
I took a break from Pokemon Go and the day after the Johto tour, I started playing again.
I got a Shiny Suicune and Hundo Tyranitar this event with no ticket after 3 hours, was a pretty good one for me. Also got Shiny Scyther, 2 of each final starters and a 99 IV Gligar
Only got 14 shinies, but got to hang with friends and I finally finished my Johto Pokedex so event was a win for me

I agree that the Kanto tour was better but damn Johto really made it worth it for ticket holders with the new Apex Shadow legends.
This event was super fun. Even tho I only got 13 (one being a raikou and larvitar) I was super happy. I got my first tyranitar and my 1st shiny tyranitar. Overall I was super happy with the results
I got 21 shinies!! 5 larvitar, 3 delibird, a cyndaquil, a shiny poliwhirl, hatched a magby, 2 murkrow, sentret, a chansey, pineco, 2 sneasel, 93% phanpy, swinub and the guarenteed Gyarados (which was meh ivs)

so... 16 shiny, but we managed to finish every single task (after we realized that pokestop with gym leaders shake like the ones with grunt, but are not discolored). There were too many thing to do in the event.
Also for your trainer problem I think there is a setting that turns on and off trainer battles
I had a shiny mantine and male Wobbuffet run on go plus. Thankfully had mantine already and can trade for male wobbuffet.
I got 33 shinies yesterday! A successful day for sure. Didn’t get a shiny corsala though, but that’s okay! Got both shiny ho oh and entie which were the only shiny legendarys I didn’t have. So that was exciting!
i got 35 shinies, got a wild shiny suicune my first check, still super fun but felt like the shiny rates weren’t as good as last year, either way still had crazy fun!
