Lmfao something like this happened to me once Got a new in box twist n turn battery powered set on eBay back in 2020 and i got a normal blue hand car instead of the exclusive red one But hey i got the set for its 2001 retail price so eh
No, it was the Lorry 1 with flatbed. It was unsold store stock that remained at the store past the item's retirement. I've gotten several other items from that store back it when was open that was retired years before. I picked up a 2001 Wellsworth Station 10 years after it was retired at the same store and made a video about it which can still be viewed on my channel.
@@LNERFlyingScotsman that’s interesting. I bought a Take Along Lorry 1 from TK Maxx in 2009 even though it was discontinued over here in Ireland a few years prior. Weirdly it was in the American style packaging.
@@joshuaW5621 That is weird. It must have been outsourced over there somehow since it wasn't selling here maybe. It's always cool finding discontinued items in stores.
@@LNERFlyingScotsman I guess Learning Curve maybe decided to experiment with US boxes in the UK market, which would also explain why I saw Mike over there in the same style of packaging.
Gasoline is almost as expensive as getting all the lorries together
Tell me about it.
What a mystery! Had me on the edge of my seat for the entire video! We may never know what happened to that Lorry 2!
Wow yeah I wouldve been pissed if I opened that and saw a Lorry 1
Funny video tho Roberto
Lorry 2 is crazy
Service station is the best road destination imo

Wait, since Lorry 1 was discontinued individually in 2003, and you say you got him from a toy store in 2008, does this mean did you got him in a set?
