I would think for only a few seconds before deciding to visit Nong Bee's Burmese Food Restaurant. Nearly every friend to ever visit has been with me to eat Burmese food here, and the usual response by message a few days later is "When can we go back to that Burmese place!?"
I love this restaurant, it's in a great location (Nimman Road, just West of downtown Chiang Mai), and the prices here are incredible for the amount and quality of food you will get here. Best of all though, the diversity in the dishes, and the style in which they are prepared, it reminds me so well of the brief time I've spent on trips to Myanmar, and I just LOVE the feeling of eating those dishes again, whenever I have the chance!
Nong Bee's deserves to be called the "Best Burmese Food in Chiang Mai" for many reasons, and I am more than happy to upload the first full-length restaurant video of their restaurant, and get it up on CZcams today. I just found your channel by accident and subscribed. I love exploring the thousands of excellent locations for real traditional Thai/Lao or Burmese food. Rarely have ever had a bad meal anywhere in Southeast Asia. I have the greatest respect for any foreigner that has made an effort to learn Thai. In my opinion as a host of a channel, they are more reliable and trustworthy with the information they offer.
i love how ya'll do this!! my daddy did it & I've always done it even way b4 social media, just word of mouth, but sharing a business WITH INTENTION of not only helping the business grow but SHARING THE FLAVOR opening others up to something they may have not even known existed. since 08 & twitter, facebook, then Instagram etc, I've took pics of all kinds of food experiences & loaded them & tagged them.

Lucky u two are enjoying the Burmese food. Specially missed the Tamarind soft tender tip of the leaves salad. I am in Northern part of US can't get those leaves. I wish I can tate the salad again. Still remembering how the yummy Tamarind leaves taste like. U can also added the leaves into the soup. The soup will be sour and so yummmy

The smells of exhaust fumes mixing with the aroma of his mysterious bowl of yummyness. I like to think of him in that way. It's not hard to imagine him enjoying this meal too.

I always struggle with what to order when I go to a Thai restaurant. Takes me about a half hour just to go through the menu. I always want everything on the menu. I am enjoying watching this. Good food as always.

None of those are rare or unique ingredients, whereas some of the other ones have stuff that you pretty much could only find with a bit of luck, maybe a Burmese community near you

Joel this place is perfect, so many dishes that I have never tried, I really like the look of the Dhal and the Tealeaves salad. I have added this to my food map, can't wait to visit! ☮️✌️

@@JoelsTastyRide I'm from Myanmar originally and grew up there as a child, also lived in Bangkok Thailand for seven years. Now in the U.S for 30 plus years 😊. That's how I know and love most Burmese dishes and many Thai dishes as well.
