The US is so bad at tracking immigrants and travellers, that as long as you can exchange your foreign driver's licence for an American one (and there are places where you can do this legally, at least in certain states), nobody will ever find out that you're in the country illegally, unless you get arrested. I know several people who have been in the US for over a decade this way, they can't ever leave though, cuz they wouldn't be allowed back again.

Just a heads up guys and girls. Mel Gibson was actually born in Peekskill, New York, so he is actually American, with Australian Grandmother, hence the fact he is noted as American-Australian.
And Nicole Kidman was borned in Hawai if I'm not mistaken.
Mel Gibson's not Australian. He was born in NY and lived in Peekskill until he was 12. His father moved the family down under to keep his sons out of Vietnam. Mel's father moved back to the U.S. Years ago and lives in Pennsylvania.
I'd try to get ride of him, too. He was in the original Mad Max and Gallipoli, however. Then again, he was in the Patriot and Lethal Weapon. Let's call it a draw, shall we?
