Wow just seeing this out of the box czcams.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

The Ned Rig has become one of my favorite go-to rigs. I love it. However, I fish it with a weedless Z-Man head, and a baby brush hog that I bit the tip off to shorten it. I pitch it and flip it INTO or on the edge of cover in 3-5 feet of water that is close to deeper water. Flip it in, jig it a bit, and BAM! Works almost every time. Love it!

Pro tip: when fishing the ned rig, cast it out, pull out a cigarette, and guaranteed a fish will run off with it before you get the cigarette lit

Awesome, sir! I've spent a lot of time bass fishing with all sorts of bass tackle. As of now, my largest bass ever was on a bluegill fly and a 5wt fly rod with TWO pound tippet! Yes sir, tiny lures DO catch a lot of big bass, lol.
I struggle with the patience to work the ned...but I always have at least 1 pack of Zman TRDs and some schroom heads in my box when I head out.

Brian, love the videos, I have a question, I fish a lake that always has clear to stained water. It has a lot of silt on the bottom. Is it better to fish a Ned rig or a drop shot, last year I had very little luck with the Ned, so this year I decided to go even lighter 1/32 head because I am afraid the bait is burrowing into the silt. I have never tried the drop but it may have better luck staying out of the bottom. What are your thoughts?
