I have one and for the people bashing BSA’s quality, I can tell you this gun is extremely robust and accurate. BSA have listened to feedback on the magazine front and made minor changes to prevent smaller pellets dropping back into the action and causing issues. The scope is extremely similar to the vector veyron and is a lovely little scope to use.

    Hello My friend,
That looks like a fantastic air rifle. BSA's new mono block works great on my R12 CLX PRO. I think it works better than the unit they had previously on the R10.The cocking lever is fantastic, as is the magazine and counter and fiercely accurate.
With great respect, you mentioned the carbon fibre bottle. On the front end of the cylinder is the air pressure gauge, so they'd have to re- design, re-locate the pressure gauge somewhere else.
I was under the impression that that air rifle was designed for someone like a farmer who wasn't interested in shooting, though just requiring an accurate tool to do the job, using it for some light pest control, who wanted a lightweight unit and not requiring a great shot count. I think BSA would say to you that if you wanted a carbon fibre bottle, look at their other models in their range with the pressure gauge underneath on the fore end.
I installed a larger carbon fibre bottle on my R12. The air rifle is heavier and front end heavy, though it's not put me off, and I like the looks. If I'm being honest, looking back, there was nothing wrong with the supplied original bottle, and I thought the shot count was plenty, though everyone was shouting for a carbon bottle. I don't think now BSA were wrong to go with their steel bottle.
    Thank you.

Come on Rack, be honest bsa are getting left behind !!! Why no idea, probs with leaks, regs , design just not what they used to be !!! My ask is, would you buy 1 ? Or look at another maker for the money it costs ?

Great questions buddy! I would buy one for sure. But one with a carbon fiber bottle would be amazing to be honest. I'll have a word with BSA....!

hi, great videos, i know you really like those rifles with gauges on the end of the air tube, i have a solution you may like, i call it a shaving mirror on my bench showing me the gauge at all times, much safer and very convenient, i thought you might be the guy to share this idea if you think it has merit

Had seen a few negative comments on the magazines for the .177 on some BSA where the pellets were dropping out back into the gun and preventing cocking. Seems no issues with this one with the quantity of pellets you put through which is great to hear. The package looks great, always had a soft spot ofr BSA as it was my first air rifle, which I still have!

Very reason i got rid of my ultra, happened way too often.
Replaced it with a Daystate Revere and never looked back.

@Getting-Older couple of years ago,had to remove the stock and pick out the pellets from the cocking latch rail.
Ok to do at home but at night was impossible if out on the rabbits in the dark.
The problem ruined a few night shoots,so sold it on.

@@Getting-Older BSA have improved the magazine's which has resolved the pellets falling out,but they shouldn't be entering the block anyway !!!
Never had it happen on any other rifle

Did they resolve the issue of the serrated washer on the stock bolt grinding the woodwork away?
