- The Timeline Editor is designed to allow you to lay out Cues in a Timecode Cue Stack on a traditional timeline based view.
It visualises audio tracks, timecode values, and both Cue and Timecode Track events in rows to allow you to visually see and modify live within the Cue Stack.
The Timeline Editor is supported on the MQ500M, MQ500, MQ80, MQ70, MQ50 and MagicQ PC Systems only.
WOW! This will make programming everything to music so much quicker for me. Can't wait to try it out.
This (and the manual) is missing some explanation around how to import audio (i.e. the detail of moving it to the audio folder). It would be good to add the specifics of that to the video (and it's missing entirely from the manual - it doesn't show anything about adding audio to the timeline in the timeline section (guessing it's under Playback section but that isn't very useful).
Agree this step isn't shown. If on a PC system audio is placed into your documents > MagicQ PC > Show > Audio folder.
If on console go to Setup > File Manager > Audio. Files can be copied into this folder in the same way as transferring show files. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the video.
How can I hear the Music? I tried it but I can't found out how. This was very cool
There are 2 options that need to be set under: setup > View Settings > Ports, Audio Output and also Audio Output Device.
@@ChamSysLtd Thx, it was very helpful!
i come short of tracks in my timeline, why is there a max on 10 tracks inside 1 timeline?
Tracks can contain as many playbacks as you like, there is indeed a limit of 10 tracks per Cue Stack.
