How can I import my audio file inside a mq50??
Place the audio files onto a USB Drive, then connect USB drive to the console. You will need to copy the audio files from the USB drive into the Show > Audio folder. Once in here they can be used on Cues / Audio timeline.

Hi please Add a virtual Keypad with all usual lightning fonctionality like Go to cue , channel, fixture. because when you have 50 CP60 plus all the rest very hard to select via scrolling on touch screen need a key pad for fast selection and simple command. Thanks in advance
This is not currently on the roadmap for QuickQ, where groups are available as well as fixtures on the home screen. Our MagicQ consoles / software offers keypad selection.

@@ChamSysLtd Yes I know for the groups but when zou work in theater you need some to pick up specific channel or create a group , verz easy with keypad and very time consuming with scrolling on touch screen. This a professional light console not a social network.... please implement a virtual keypad very easy to code it!

How come if I record a position (pan/tilt) on a fader, the fader doesn't increment though the values. At 100 it jumps to the position and the moving head speeds there. I want to be able to go from point A to point B, between two positions, manually using a fader.
This would work on QuickQ only if no intensity has also been recorded into the Cue.

@@ChamSysLtd merci beaucoup et il serait très utile de développer et de rajouter un clavier virtuel pour la console quick q20 car quand nous avons 50 CP60 plus toutes les autres machines, il est très compliqué de sélectionner ce que l'on veut et il serait très utile d'avoir un clavier virtuel pour pouvoir sélectionner un channel ou une fixture spécifique, avec plus et moins, et une touche Cue pour pouvoir sélectionner un Cue spécifique rapidement enfin toutes les fonctionnalités de base d'une console lumière pour fluidifier le travail car via l'écran tactile cela n'est vraiment pas pratique. Je vous remercie.

This feature is super, but we are struggling to use it: We have a network with 2 Laptops (One for MagicQ and one for Resolume), an Artnet Node and the Denon DJ Mixer (x1850 and 2 SC6000) players. As far as I can understand, MagicQ does not allow the regular network and control net in one network. But we need to have the stagelinq Signal Both in Resolume and MagicQ and also need to have an Artnet Connection between both Laptops, because Resolume outputs DMX Signals as Artnet input to MagicQ. Is there a way to solve that?

MagicQv1.9.5.5 (Demo Mode) the function does not work, although the manual says: "When set to Simulator, MagicQ generates a test pattern on the x and z positions of Trackers 1 and 2 in opposing directions for testing purposes. The simulator does not require MagicQ hardware."
Testing here this is working when Tracker RX is set to Simulator, could you send over your show file to support@chamsys.co.uk for us to look at?

The MagicQ PC Software in 'demo mode' without any hardware connected will output 64 Universes of Art-Net / sACN without any restriction / use with any node you like. The GN2 will give you 2 physical outputs and unlock MagicQ PC systems into 'core mode' - chamsyslighting.com/pages/magicq-software-licensing
Can you also record the state of the master fader?
The Master Fader is not recorded into snapshot, but snapshots do take the level into account e.g. they snapshot the DMX coming out of the console at the current level.
@@ChamSysLtd So if I understand right, if I have a recorded scene or 'state' of the QuickQ board, I can turn that on or off, etc. but the master fader will always limit the settings in the context of the master setting. Meaning, if the master is at zero... regardless of the recorded scene or board state (say record via 'all') no effect will be seen. But if the master fader is at 100% then the recorded scene when enabled will present as it was recorded, be each cue fader reflected at the recorded value.
Is there anyway via the API, or the OSC control, any method, where the master can be controlled? I can move the master setting via the phone app right? Or software remote control right? So there must be some way to control the master, then invoke a snapshot as you noted. No? It would be a 2 step process? Set master 100% then invoke the snapshot?
@@JibunnoKage-cj2kz That's correct. Currently via API / OSC there is no way to control the Grand Master fader.

From the 'tools' menu at the top of the MagicQ PC window, select 'Install Head File(s)' and then select your .hed file via the file explorer.

I have patched fixtures with addresses I want to keep, colour palettes built and an execute page built all relating to the fixtures and colour palettes. Using the methods shown in the video, I guess Its possible to import these into another show file?

Hola, estoy creando un efecto de posición y llamo a la luminaria por full y luego creo las posiciones, al pinchar en make fx solo me deja elegir el atributo de dimmer estando también pan tilt, ptspeed. Debería llamarlo siempre por locate? Muchas gracias por los videos, son de gran ayuda

Just got the QuickQ 20 today, I programmed a few que's, each one only has one que, I don't seem to have the options in the menu, do I need to have at least 2 items in a que before that shows up? Sorry, I'm a newbie.
The MIDI note no's are hard coded and always enabled - there is no setting required to enable this.
Just tried this out as I really needed a way to have a macro trigger the playback fader but is there a way to have it smoothly bring the fader up or down?
Not using a Live Macro as these are immediately execute - using a normal keyboard macro this would work (set timing to Internal TC and it would respect the timing taken when raising/lowering the fader for a smoother fade).

@@ChamSysLtd Los básicos de DMX los conozco, y aún así llevo tres días intentando descifrar el software. El problema con estos vídeos es que, por ejemplo, en este primer capítulo se mecionan diversas prestaciones del MagicQ que no han sido explicadas. Cue, CueStack, Playbacks, Palettes, Atributos... habla de los grupos sin haber explicado antes cómo se configuran, toca posiciones sin haber dicho cómo se ajustan, usa botones como FULL o CLEAR como si ya se hubiese explicado antes su función. Tiene un visualiser abierto que no se sabe de dónde ha salido ni cómo se ha configurado. Etc etc. La información se entrega de forma errática además. Lo que se necesita es una serie de videos que vayan explicando estos conceptos de uno en uno, y mostrando como se implementan en MagicQ. E ir escalando la complejidad paso a paso.

Bonjour ! La MQ70 n'a pas de visualiseur intégré, seule la MQ500M l'a dans la console. Si tu veux le visualiseur, il faut télécharger le logiciel MagicQ sur le site Chamsys. Une fois installé, tu connectes ta console à ton ordinateur avec un câble RJ45. Tu configures l'adresse IPv4 de la carte réseau d'ordinateur en 2.0.0.2 avec un masque de sous réseau en 255.0.0.0. Puis dans la console tu vas dans Setup>View Settings>Network, tu mets une adresse IP en 2.0.0.3 avec un masque de sous réseau en 255.0.0.0. Tu vérifies dans le Multi-console que les deux première ligne soit sur Yes. Ensuite tu lances le MagicVis qui a été installé en même que MagicQ. Tu vas dans Files>Settings>Network tu sélectionnes ta carte réseau et la console va apparaitre. Tu cliques dessus et ensuite OK.
Se puede editar el modo del fader para que vaya y vuelva? Es decir que, si grabo una posición al levantar se dirija paulatinamente hasta donde la grabe llegado al 100% del fader? y que al volver a 0% vaya, también paulatinamente, volviendo a la posición donde estaba previo a subir el fader?
Sí, si presiona el botón 's' o la leyenda de reproducción 3 veces para ingresar al menú 'opciones de pila de cue', en la pestaña del atenuador, configure 'Controles del atenuador LTP' en Sí aquí.
Hola, le hago una consulta. Hay forma de configurar para que respecto a posiciones y colores queden por default en el estado anterior cuando presiono clear, pero que cuando utilizo un Fader y lo bajo a 0% se desactive lo de ese Fader? Es decir, por ejemplo, cambio todas las luminarias a azul y las pongo en una posición senital, si pongo clear esto se mantiene y que cuando presione un Fader que, por ejemplo, haga un movimiento hacia público y cambie de color a rojo, al desactivarlo la posición y color vuelvan a como estaban antes (en este caso senital azul) Espero haberme explicado, muchas gracias

@@ChamSysLtd I have 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of SSD, and a CPU Ryzen 5 5600X. And the version of software is 1.9.5.5. The software closes when I open the MagicQ Visualiser and I open another windows in other application.
@@MontoTheProducer We are about to release a v1.9.6.0 64 bit Windows version (we're around 2-3 weeks away from release of this) that should solve this!
