- Kojima, Japan has always been a place I’ve heard about as a denimhead but felt sort of mysterious due to the fact that it was thousands of miles away in a part of Japan that doesn’t get talked about very often. For this week’s video, I tried to capture Kojima in a very personal way to my interest in Japanese Denim. If you’ve been here with me since I started creating content, you’ll know how big of a moment this video is for me. And if you’re new here, just know that this video is a BIG DEAL. I hope you enjoy!

You don’t know how much I appreciate your content, bro every other fashion influencer just shows a video of them walking through Japan, but there’s no type of structure so ou don’t know what you’re looking forward to, but you go into depth and detail and section out every interaction so well it feels so well paced.
I really hope you keep making this stuff because in a sense it almost feels like you were so grateful for the trip and you savored every last bit of it and getting to relive it with you honestly put me in a gratitude type of mood for real 🙌🏻

You definitely should've hit up the TCB factory, my wife and I went there last yr and that was for sure the highlight of Kojima. They gave us 2 free selvedge tote bags and some other goodies as a thank you for coming out on our honeymoon. I'm a TCB guy for life now ngl. Glad you enjoyed your time in Kojima, really wish it got more love!

Japan Blue Jean shop host was so nice!! I love how in Asia they actually enjoy doing their job, whereas the most in America just do the bare minimum. They really care about who their customers are.

Great to see your journey within the Japanese denim mecca. I'm guessing you're a denim head. On that note check out some of these brands: Iron Heart (Japan), Samurai Jeans (Japan), Imperial Denim (Australia), Kerbside (Singapore brand but Japanese denim). I also resonate with Maiko's sentiments. You have a great look that can resonate with the Japanese audience. You should do more Japan content.

Hoenstly high key, the staff at Raw denim stores(i've mostly spent time in Osaka) are what keeps me into raw denim. It's fun just talking clothes, geeking out on denim and sharing fade pictures.
i needa get my money up so i can get some good denim. i been interested in that side of fashion for a while. heritage, quality, craftmanship-forward brands are so much more personal and important than the average new/newly trending brand to me
Drew, your content is just about the best going around and this one was no different. Been following along the journey for a few years now and recently just picked up my first pair of Japanese selvedge, coincidentally they happened to be from Japan Blue Jeans! Awesome to see that the staff and the shrine of fades as that only makes me appreciate my pair from the brand even more.

Just have been to jeans street 3 weeks ago. Nice Video! For next time you visit Kojima, I can really recommend the Kapital store. Its their main store, and right now there is also a small bandana museum run by them.

Drew - how did you go buying jeans at 6'4? I'm also at that height and struggled with everything in Japan last time I was there. Were there any stores that you found there was a good range for your height? For me Evisu was the only one.
