This engine, made by E. Leonard & Sons pat.d 1877, ran a veneer lathe to make cheese crates in Phillipsville Ontario. I'd love to see it back under steam in the future.
When you takes off that insulation jacket off that cylinder make sure you have a water sprayer handy as it's likely to be asbestos underneath... Same with them packings... ☹🇬🇧
