I came across your videos last year while scrolling CZcams hoping to learn fashion design. Your mix of cinematography, pattern making instructional videos, inspiration videos for future designers inspired me so much that I decided to enrol in a fashion program at my local community college. I’m already learning so much and have been using your videos as a learning resource while in school! Thank you for making these! I haven’t come across any other CZcams channels with experience like yours ( having worked for major fashion houses). Sometimes I learn draping or patter making concepts at school and don’t fully understand. many CZcams videos feel like “home sewing” tutorials but yours are professional and always give me amazing results! Thank you so much. The young fashion community appreciates it!

I learned that you have to cut muslin I learned to cut muslin with scissors and tear it by hand. Do you know why?
Yes I’m curious why he only slashed the selvage instead of snipping and ripping the muslin… I learned it’s to balance the Muslin and true it. But perhaps this is another alternative way of doing that… I thought the selvage keeps it from being altered.. just some assumptions idk.. but lovely videos on this channel. 🎉
