I bought this book on the Kickstarter and it is definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made, the amount of work that has gone into this book is massive. Definitely the best figure guide I’ve ever come across

That is the ultimate collector's guide to vintage Kenner figures. I hope the creators will do one for the new TVC figures someday.
You never know, this is Vol 1 so perhaps in the future there will be a volume dedicated to TVC 👍

It's fun going through these well-illustrated and designed books, admiring the card art work and designs of the figures. A lot of work clearly went into the book. Nice!

Great Review Dave! Your copy of the gold edition is stunning and I could not believe how huge it is. What shocked me the most was my name in this book!!! I did not know this was in there and It caught me by complete surprise. That is so very kind of the guys to do that. I must personally thank them. All the best Dave and enjoy the book!

I'm surprised to see that Steven Sansweet didn't have any involvement. His books are also comprehensive but this book is on another level. Absolutely stunningly beautiful piece.

This is absolutely incredible, the work required to produce a document of this calibre is monumental, I work in the print industry and know what it takes to get simple books designed printed and bound and this is on a completely different level, congratulations to the creators of this marvellous book you should be so proud of what you have produced here. As a lifelong Star Wars fan I applaud you and hope you sell hundreds of copies, I hope to one day own one myself, well done guys its beautiful work :)

Hopefully it has more stuff than the Kellerman book. Does it cover Lily Ledy variants?
It has much more than the Kellerman, but it sticks to the Kenner figures and variants.
The focus is on Kenner but covers it thoroughly. Also, this is Volume One, so who knows what will come in the future. I'd love to see a Palitoy section or two 👍
@@VintageToyRush I would just love to see a “definitive guide” that actually has info for hard core collectors outside of the common stuff that everyone knows. For example, for lettered-hilt lightsabers, how many different stamps are there? Which are more rare, double letters or single letters? Every time I buy one of these books, including that $300 one from a few years back, I am always disappointed. I want to find an author who knows more about vintage Star Ward than I do.
