As a Sharks fan it is crazy 11 years of his life and mine. Good for him he went to a team with a better cup chance.

As a Sharks fan I teared up like a little baby. Burns is the reason I became a Sharks fan and fell in love with hockey. I genuinely hope he can win a cup in Carolina

Thank you burnsie. Your slap shots from the blue line and your eleven years of lighting the lamp and sounding the horn hit different. The way you were able to play in San Jose was so elite like San Jose had never seen before. My favorite defensemen of all time brought me so of the best moments as a hockey fan. I would have never thought that this would come. Are old chewybacca man with the beard for days is gone. A hall of fame player in my opinion to. Thanks Burnsie!
And Burns has already become beloved in Carolina so thanks Sharks for Burnzie, we'll treat him well and love him with the respect a player like him deserves. Hopefully he wins a cup with us as he deserves.

@@creamyeugene Fleury lead the franchise from start and was the face of it for his time there. Majority of the fans only wore his jersey. He wasn’t there for 11 seasons because of management. And for it being Vegas who literally performs cheesy shows at the beginning on the game, you’d expect something grand for their best player

As the season got to the Conference Finals, I was rooting so hard for Dallas v Carolina in the Finals, just so one of ours could finally lift the Cup. All I got for that was Vegas v Florida.
In the Finals, I was rooting for Florida. Yet Vegas won.
