I was considering upgrading to Samsung Z Fold 6 but if it ain't an Ultra no way giving up my OnePlus Open.
Fold2 was my first and only one I bought on launch day. Since then I got a fold 3 for Father’s Day with a watch 4 classic 46mm lte for $750 and then the same deal on the fold5 with gw 6 classic 47mm and buds 2 pro I don’t remember what sale it was several months back. If it weren’t for the massive sales, I would still daily drive my fold2, in fact it still works and I use it as a spare device
I'm done spending my hard earned money on mediocre. I'll wait till it comes to America - and only if it's the upgrade we've been wanting.
The worst thing is it doesn't have all the bands so your signal sucks also no warranty or insurance on a foldable no thanks.

My fold 1 was imported from Korea. I have the 5 now but I love that OG fold

I'm done with spending money on phones . It's getting boring ... I will stick with my Samsung s24 for the next seven years since it gets updates for that long . How many times can you buy a folded phone that looks the same every year with minor upgrades.
I'm not gonna import it,it is a way too difficult process for me,i am probably gonna wait for the global version,or just buy the normal fold6,but,first i wanna see what they announce at unpacked in july
What if you live outside the US already? Where I live, all phones are the international version. I live in Panama. I have an S24 Ultra international version w dual sim

The rabbit hole deepens and widens every year. The Z fold Ultra will probably only be 10% better than the Z fold 6. Any percentage loss getting the Korean version would just seem stupid to me with all the potential issues. How much does anyone use 100% of the Z fold 5's potential? I own a tablet, laptop, and a PC. My Z fold 5 really only needs to be a phone for me. Maybe when the Z fold 8 comes out, I'll consider updating.
I'll import a Fold Ultra, but I don't expect it to work perfectly. If compatibility gets to be too much, I'll just buy a regular Fold 6.

You won't get 5g in the States and will most likely get 4g LTE only.
Just go with the OnePlus open or the OnePlus Open 2 which will BLOW AWAY the Fold 6😅

I imported a note 7 FE from Korea back when it released. Most stuff worked here in Canada on rogers but some didnt...wifi calling, voLTE dont work, didn't support all bamds so my signal was not as good as an actual rogers device.
That said i dont know why samsung wouldnt sell the device in other countries. That could be considered racist if the obly sell in korea and no company wants that labeled on them
Coming from the zfold 5 if they dont put amazing cameras on the new z fold 6 then i wont be switching, not worth it. 1800$ for crappy cameras isnt worth the upgrade at least to me. Ive been on the fild since the fold 3 and its been crappy camera after crappy camera, for that i would just go back to the s series and pay way less
So no warranty, no 5g frequency in America, bloatware. And paying over $2000. Sounds like.....
