Maxwell Maltz MD FICS was an American plastic surgeon, author and the father of self-image psychology. His most famous book was Psycho-Cybernetics (1960), which contains a system of ideas designed to improve one's self-image leading to a more successful and fulfilling life.

He was a very important figure-seminal, indeed-in the field of self-image psychology. He was a trailblazer. And all the very best to you!
I just love this guy. His voice and delivery is phenomenal - it's like a cross between a 50's NYC gangster and Rocky Balboa. I listen to this every day. He and Dr Joseph Murphy's philosophies are staples of my day to day activities. Every single day I sit in the "theater of my mind."
