- If Clockwerk does return in the future, what we he do after he finds out that one of the Fiendish Five members helped the Cooper gang?
Clockwerk is considered the main villain of the series in my opinion. Such an interesting and fascinating character, one with many untold stories. What if a new saga was born, the Clockwerk Saga? In this new trilogy, Clockwerk is reborn and fans get the chance to understand who Clockwerk is.
He only appeared once in Sly Cooper The Thievius Raccoonus. In my opinion, Clock-La does not count. If you want Sly 5 and games after that to have a more darker tone, killing off a character could one step.
Many believe that Sly Cooper 5 is the end, but what if it's the beginning of a new saga?

Not gonna lie, I'm interested in the idea of Clockwerk coming back and killing Panda King for not only leaving his criminal ways, but also joining with his most hated enemy. If they do bring Clockwerk back and reveal more of his backstory, it'll definitely make him a lot more scarier than he already was in his appearance in Sly 1.

@@ragingrex9155 He did say that as the last remnant of Clockwerk's scars were Bentley's legs. I know that it was Clock-La who crippled Bentley, but he still appeared as his demons along with the Black Knight in Sly 4. Even his eye and message on one of the treasures hints at his possible return.
If Clockwerk returns and find out about this betrayal he would kill Panda King. I think Sly will trigger Clokwerk hate in the past and when he returns to the present someone will bring the old bird back. Sly will be in a nightmare, knowing that he is the cause of the Cooper's suffering and then Clockwerk reborn seeking for revenge. He will be depressed for a while and Carmelita will be the one who will save Sly from this darkness. Penelope could help defeat Clockwerk and return to the gang. This would be a great end for my favourite game saga.
Sly could have been the one to unintentionally triggered Clockwerk yes, perhaps show it in Sly 5. I think Sly turning mad or becoming dark aka Dark Sly could be left for a spin-off. However, something would have to really change him, corruption? Some evil spirit finds Sly in the past?
I always theorized that Clockwerk was secretly controlling Neyla's mind as soon as she entered his frame; however, this is just a theory, and has no factual evidence to go on. It would just be badass.
Hmm... Was his brain connected? We don't know. The brain is Clockwerk, I think the hate chip was fueling her and felt this power.
I wouldn't mind the Hate Chip getting retconned honestly, the Hate Chip is the dumbest thing in the Sly Cooper series. You can't quantify hate and calculate hate.

Clockwerk is like a Don and the fiendish 5 is like the mafia according to this theory. I like the idea makes sense. The Panda King is a traitor so he will get "Whacked" for his actions of betraying both the Fiendish 5 and Clockwerk. Jing King may witness her father get murdered and end up joining the Cooper gang to avenge her fathers death. New playable character perhaps?
okay, what I have been thinking is that mostly it should focus more on Clockwerk, because depending on his hate on the Cooper gang , he is typically the main cause of what happened since the beginning of the first game, it could be tell in his point of view, because he can tell us what is plans were, the plans are for the future, so it should mostly be based on him, also thank you for posting this prediction, I love all your sly Cooper videos ☺

Based on the silhouette of that shadow it appears to be Clockwerk since it was a clawed foot like a bird, Muggshot and Panda King don't match up with the shadow since both were fairly similar in size and obviously it wasn't Sir Raleigh or Mz. Rubie. If Clockwerk somehow returned, for real, he would likely be furious that the Panda King is now an ally of Sly since he learned to let go of the darkness in his heart and likely attempt to destroy him.

14:00 - I honestly believe that if anything ends, it has to be the time travel aspect, I get even SuckerPunch had the same exact idea but once Sly is back after visiting the rest of the Coopers including his old man, that has to be it for time travel, Bentley should be at least smart enough to know the consequences of time travel and dismantle the time machine once and for all, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the series will end then and there though, I say it'll still continue.

The quotes are all my imagination haha, a little scenario I came up with, you know just to add some build up. The arm does look like Muggshot's! I didn't really dive too deep into Panda's background, like him being shunned as a kid, it wasn't the main point, I just wanted to give a quick little summary. Bentley's lab, the lab we saw in the intro of Sly 4. They have to end time travel in Sly 5, it's just way too complex of an area to explore even further. Bentley will WARN Sly of the consequences definitely.
Did you mash some quotes up from your favorite games? Because some of the words sound familiar to me.
There can still be hope for more sequels without time travel, once the end of the 5th game comes, that's it.

I'd like to think that in Sly 5 (if we ever get one) we'll see Clockwerk's backstory, since Sly apparently is in Ancient Egypt. I'm sure something must've happened between Clockwerk and Slythunkamen to have him hate a family line for CENTURIES. Clockwerk is a pool of potential tbh, and I'd love to see him again, he's the only boss that actually scared me when I fought him in the first game.
Also, it'd be great to see the gang struggle to fight him and survive in the past knowing they can't defeat him.
Clockwerk is a pool of potential I 100% agree on that! We have to avoid paradoxes, I imagine Bentley warning Sly in time. Something must've happened between him and Slytunkhamen, perhaps they were good friends at first. Seeing Clockwerk in 1350BC is step one towards his return, you know to simply find out what caused some of his hatred.

Thank you. plus i was thinking, what if someone finds Clockwerk's brain and rebuilds him, however... he finds out there is another Cooper but that Cooper is a cousin to the Cooper family. That one is ShadowSly "Cooper" Genada because he's tied to them as a cousin but knows alot about technology and such plus he's a mastery of sword arts and the weapon of choice he has is a single bladed sword that strongly resembles a Spadroon but however at the end there is a curved hook that he can use to grab things and hook onto. ShadowSly is a Blaccoon who's taller, stronger, faster and, very intelligent.
At first Sly doesn't know he's the cousin to Sly but all he knows is he's a unknown person who flew down to Earth from a fighter that's designed for dogfight and stealth. the reason why Clock figures out ShadowSly is apart of the Cooper family because he says his full name but he speaks Cooper as his middle name instead of his last name.

I just assumed that Panda King retired after the events of Sly 3, considering we didn't see him in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. To make things a bit more dramatic, why not have Jing King spot Clockwerk flying away in his new body as the maniacal owl laughs.
Jing King could help the gang in the future, someone who trained marshal arts and Kung Fu! We never really saw Jing King.
True. And we really don't know what she looked like as we only saw her shadow in the third game. Jing King could team up with the Cooper Gang too. Maybe she studied martial arts and her father's Flame Fu so she wouldn't get stuck in a situation like she did with General Tsao.
Another great job Vivi. Maybe Panda King only joined Clockwerk in the Fiendish Five besides his Firework art being rejected is because he threatened to hurt or kill Jing King in some way.

Clockwerk (stylized as CLOCKWeЯK) was a Eurasian eagle owl that was the leader of the Fiendish Five and arch-nemesis of the Cooper Clan. He was consumed by jealousy for the Cooper Clan's reputation as thieves and hated them to such a degree that he replaced his mortal body with soulless machinery just to keep up with them through time. He was eventually killed by Sly Cooper, though his legacy continues to haunt the Cooper Gang to the present day.

Panda King joined Clockwerk because he was a bad guy. He escaped from jail because in the Slyverse criminals escape form prisons all the time, just like in many cartoons, where villains are never defeated, so they could return in future episode. And return again. And again, because most older action shows never had a real ending, and would go on for as long as the budget allows.

Probably shattering dreams, but I don't believe, Sly will ever get a completely new saga. Maybe one last game, rounding up the story, the true final battle against the arch-nemesis Clockwerk. Though, I'm actually hoping for at least one more game due to the cliffhanger. The whole Sly Cooper Series is a lost gem in my personal (and very unprofessional) opinion
As it goes for the death of the fluffy panda, it is not farfetched, the explanation makes sense. Clockwerk would visit the Panda King again eventually, maybe trying to convince him into some other mischief and, upon hearing Panda's explanation, he would put his body to a test resulting in Panda's death. He could do the same with the other Sly1-Bosses, Raleigh, Muggshot (whereever he is xD) and Ms.Ruby, asking them to join him again on one last approach of getting rid of the Cooper-bloodline for all time or eliminating them, because for the fun or something.
I wouldn't mind, if they would tell a short but complete little story about how each of the Characters lived their lives after Clockwerk was finally beaten for good.
Maybe Sly and Carmelita got closer to each other, finally decided to engage an actual relationship with future kids, having them see grow up happily, living as one family.
Bentley could be reunited with his siblings, telling them about his adventures, teaching them the stuff he learned or similar.
And Murray... could do Murray-stuff, like going back into the racing-circle demolition-derby whatever thingie he did and do his own thing.
I would already be happy, if there was some sort of short comic or even cinematic explaining Sly got back from egypt and what happened while he wasn't there yada yada yada. (in case, the potential Sly5 game doesn't explain it/ever comes out)
If Clockwerk needed people again, I guess he would ''hire'' other people. After the previous ones failed, I can't imagine him recruiting them again unless for a specific reason.

I would love for Clockwerk to return, and Panda King's death sounded cool, although I would be a little worried about making Sly too dark. It should still be rated E10+, and having Jing King come screaming for her father might be a little dark for a Sly Cooper game. I also wouldn't like exchanging the cel-shading for CGI, which works for the movie, but would change the feel of the games a bit too much. Other than that, this sounds like a great prediction and would actually be a very cool thing to see in the future.
Too dark? Toothpick shot one of his guards, Sly's parents were killed, Arpeggio got crushed... I think Jing King crying is a way of showing how the series can easily take a darker turn. R&C PS4, although I enjoyed, really felt watered down in terms of story and characters. Plus, Ratchet got killed by his own species (off-topic) in A Crack in time. As for the cgi, it simply has to do with the gaming industry. IF we do get a game based off the movie, it will be cgi and perhaps it might garner a lot attention why? 1. It's a beginning and 2. The visuals. Look at some old Disney movies, some characters had tragic deaths. Thanks for watching!
True, the series has gone dark before. I just want to keep it family friendly, because I enjoy sharing the series with my younger siblings. I'd still play the game if it were CGI, and I'll still love it, but if it were up to me, it would remain cel-shaded. Just personal preference.

If the two games having an eight-year gap between them is canon, then Panda King must be nearing his golden years by now. (Personally, I think it's a four-year gap between the game.).
PK dying can make sense to give the series some grim backstories and to expand more. If it needs a fresh direction all while in the spirit of the game, then this can do. After all, Clockwerk is the catalyst of the series. For him to come back would be interesting (as long it is something else that brings him back and not Penelope. I do not deserve this kind of heartache)
If that's the case, then we could see a new trilogy, The Time Trilogy.

Also Vivi how does Clockwerk come into the present without a pardox happening. I also feel differently than u do. I feel like we should see clockwerk in the past more. We could get more backstory about him and Slytankam and why he hates the coopers. Also I believe that there is a plethora of Sly game ideas but with the way the movie and Sly 5 are coming Im thinking it could be the last game. Ofcourse Im always open to a dark reboot with movie cgi but i feel like no previous sly villains including clockwerk should be in it.
We could definitely see Clockwerk in the past, but Sly has to be very careful not to mess with the timeline. As for Clockwerk return, no he doesn't travel to the future. Someone simply finds his brain and rebuild him.

It would make a lot more sense for clockwork to kill the panda king, I mean, I think ever since sly 3, sly probably forgived the panda king on the inside, think about it, when the panda king Stuck around with the cooper gang,
-Panda king forgive sly.
-Panda king helped the gang protect the boat.
-The most heartwarming part, the panda king helped the gang get to the vault.
-And the panda king helped sly's friends get to the top of the island.
That's about four times so far and all are important and sly so far is probably so happy all thanks to what the panda king did so far but also shows more anger to clockwork, killing the panda king would also be a good idea for sly to be... just a tad bit sad I think, more perhaps clockwork can go overboard and maybe kill most of the the gangs beloved people, if any villain can help clockwork so far would have to probably be the Contessa, first, the Contessa is probably the most and go to villain of choice, she is a master hypnosis person, could clockwork perhaps use her to improve his body, hypnotizing could be one of the more better move sets clockwork can obtain, sure there are also technicians but most of them don't have the capability to improve clockworks body and we know how the other one happened so far, and also not most of the claw gang, most of them are just better off gone now since Rajan doesn't really care for taking over most of the world but with luxury, Jean got trapped in the iceberg again, and both are for simple reasons, but the Contessa surely didn't change, most people saw the credits for sly 2 and the Contessa haven't fully got over a new leaf quite yet which also give clockwork an advantage, sly 3 & 4 villains aren't really useful for clockworks revenge so far with the exemption of Dr. M or less likely Le Paradox.

If Sony plans a remake, I think they could end the classic trilogy with a stand alone downloadable game if anything.

Clockwork destroying Bentley's lab actually sounds like a great way to start off Sly 5 or 6. But Clockwork killing Panda King? I doubt Clockwork even remembers the Fiendish Five. They weren't exactly important to him by the end of the first game. He just needed them to kill Sly's parents and steal the Thevious Racconus which they succeeded in. After that, the Fiendish Five went in their own directions. Panda King and Clockwork never even mention each other. While it would be more dramatic, that would also have to put Jing King in a big part of the story. She went through almost the same thing Sly went through, watching her family be murdered. She would want revenge and she knows Panda King has a history with the Cooper Gang. Of course, it would be nice to see what Jing King's face looks like, She would still have to have a big part in the next game if Clockwork really does kill her father.
Panda did work for Clockwerk, he was an ally I'd say, Sly 1 just delivered it poorly. But I agree, Clockwerk might just not care but looking at his nature, it seems like he would go suck lengths. I mean he teamed up with a Cooper afterall!!!!! The Klaw gang actually went their separate ways I'd say compared to Fiendish. Like you said, it'd be interesting to have Jing King in the party, killing off her father is a pretty dark way of achieving it.

to be fair, 3 years in jail isn't a realistic amount of time for PK to be in jail, regardless of whether or not he killed anyone. You don't need to kill somebody to get a long jail sentence. Plus, he probably killed ALOT of people indirectly. (His guards killed people, firework accidents, etc
Out of everything, a 3 year sentence sounds way too short considering the fact that he got people killed in Sly 1 too.
In sly 6 the final boss is the chair from the 2nd game

Or what if sly or his dad killed the Panda kings daughter so he went back in time to help defeat slys dad before she died so sly would kill him instead of his daughter but then realized he's killing a beloved father so he made someone else in the fiendish five so he wouldn't have felt bad for sly?

l think it was mis ruby who killed Slys father because after looking close to the shadow and compere the all members she have five fingers like panda king and the frog and mugshot, but l notice that, mugshot and panda king have to big wrists to match the shadow plus the frog have to small arms to fit whit this shadow.

Regarding your idea of going more "serious". Here's the thing, you must stay true to the tone of whatever you're making a sequel to. It is very important, otherwise a sequel will always feel "wrong". I could go into a full essay to explain why keeping why tone consistency is good, but for now consider that I may be right on that one. Sly had a certain rhythm to the dialogue, certain choice of words, certain rules to the universe (a healthy amount of weird unexplained wackiness in every game, just for one example). Sly's tone was always a certain mix of serious and weird, comedic and dramatic. Only in a couple of points here and there did the dialog and story went into full dramatic/serious mode, and if Sly 5/6/7 starts dwelling on dramatic/serious for too long, it will start feeling like a fanfiction (for reference, Sly 4 NEVER felt like a fanfiction to me).
Not saying the future games should feel serious all the time, it's just I believe the series needs that one dramatic moment. Have them show a side of Sly we've never seen before.
The series went there all the time. The beginning and the end of Sly 1. A village buried in snow in Sly 1. Mind control in Sly 2. Bentley breaking his legs in Sly 2. Murray blaming himself for that in Sly 3. Sly nearly escaping death in Sly 3. Sly dealing with the fact his own father might have been a jerk in Sly 3. The breakup in Sly 4. ANOTHER breakup at the end of Sly 4, with Carmelita taking it pretty hard.
And of course, lots of casual killing! :D
There was never shortage of dark moments in Sly games. That, and more dark moments do not make a story better.

OOUUUFF, I don't think the gang would accept Clockwerk after what he did. His brain is full of memories of the past, that will push him to continue doing what he does.
i think someone will die in Sly 5 but i dont think it's the Panda King. i think it might be Miss Ruby. but before i explain, does anyone else think their could be 2 games that could be considered as Sly 5? one game that obviously follows Sly in Ancient Egypt, and another game running parrallel as Murray, Bentley, and Carmalita try to do their part in the present?
Why Miss Ruby though? If Clockwerk does make a comeback, I think he'll hunt down Panda after what he's done. Sly 5 split into two parts? That'd be sweet actually, two games fully taking the time to explore the story a lot deeper. But I believe one long game is sufficient, at least one game sounds more likely.
Ok now this is how i think it will go down. As Sly tries finding a way home on his end (after letting the gang know when he is through the Thievius Raccoonus). Murray, Bentley and Carmalita will go look for an Egyptian Artifact that could help them get Sly back. (Carmalita basically takes the role of a temporary Sly, as a sort of Interpol rescue mission). But for some reason a dark figure is destroying the artifacts just as they reach the museums. Their mission basically is to save at least one egyptian artifact so they can save sly. One of the levels could take place in the present day Cotton Mouth Bluff, and find the locals in a panic as their town is being plagued by a ghost. Miss Ruby who escaped prison is locked up in the local jail because of her previous crimes with the undead. But she informs the gang that she had nothing to do with this spirit and has been trying to turn a new leaf. As we know she had trouble making friends because of her unusual abilities and tried to take revenge on the world for fearing her. So what if she thought she could use her powers of bringing the dead to life to help people and thus make friends that way. A bit of a cheesy start for a reformation but stay with me. The Cooper gang have a hard time believing her and decide to do some investigating. When they realize that this ghost really isnt her doing they decide to help her clear her name as long as she returns the favor by helping the gang save Sly. Miss Ruby would inform them that the reason some spirits haunt places is because they are seeking revenge or hold a great anger towards someone or something. The group then find out it is Toothpick haunting the town because he was trapped in the past and lost his hearing from the trains. And he is angry at the Cooper gang for leaving him in the old west. Now the boss fight of the level would be against the ghost of Toothpick, but Miss Ruby says that he cannot be harmed in his spirit form and has to be possessing someone in the world of the living in order to be vulnerable to the gangs attacks but he is able to use his abilities and his hosts abilities to defend himself. Miss Ruby has Toothpick possess her as her final chance to prove that her powers could be used for good. And dies after Toothpick's is finally put to rest. But not before fulfilling her end of the deal and giving the gang a new lead on a Egyptian relic making it's way to a Museum in New York City where the Guru is. Its a work in progress. And so is the idea i have for Penelope's role in Sly 5

Nun that's impossible I doubt they will bring clockwork back with the chip destroy in the second game . The only way to bring him back is to go back to the pass where sly was really young and were a young boy and tell the story of why did he want the cooper book so bad and why he took the book and kill sly father
Or a reboot other wise I don't see how they could bring him back with out the chip.

I always imagined Panda King's former Fiendish Five colleges attacking him at once for his betrayal. Along with Tsao as well possibly.
And the only reason Panda King joined Clockwerk was to protect his daughter from him, as well as the avalanche attacks in order to pay for care for his sick and dying wife.
you know I always took the idea of a sly cooper game going a little bit more dark or adult, and lets face it some of those themes where in the background from the start, cof cof giant mechanical old murderous owl with a thirst for revenge, and what I just call the House Scene (the deaths of sly's parrents), anyway im getting side track'd, I would take this idea of a more adult sly cooper game with a grain of salt, how ever, I dont realy remember when the first game was released, but im going to say arround 2000, the idea of this type of game/characters and animation is exclusive for kids is kinda dead by now, if anything the new season of Samurai Jack just prooves my point, at this point Im happy if we get a game or movie made for the fans (yeah new ppl would get confused but you get my point) and Im down for a more down to earth plotline
Not necessarily more ADULT, but a game which is more deeper story driven, example R&C A Crack In Time. First game came out in 2002, its 15th anniversary is coming up. Samurai Jack is a very good example, I got surprised how it suddenly went more adult oriented.
How old is jing King, given the type of ”person” General Tsao is? Keep in mind that what is considered under aged and is different depending on the time period, capture, and who is setting the standards. also, did the panda King know that he had a daughter in the first sly game?

the clockwork saga......that has a cache ring to it and i have my prediction of the sly cooper movie that the claw gang or Dr.m as a secret ending and do you think that sly cooper can crossover with infamous if you are curious it's a another game thats created by sucker punch and it's awesome and I recommend for you to look it up or play the game

my theory is that clockwerk is way ahead from the future and he developed a time machine and traveled back in time to kill the coopers because he was tired of present day coopers and have you thinked why clockwerk was in bob's map? metal or iron wasn't even found yet... but why didn't he just kill the coopers in the present? well, that's because he knew that somebody will invent a time machine which happened because bentley invented it and he knew that they could save the coopers and on the chalkboard in the beginning of sly 4: "clock parts integral to time travel" soooooooo it's kinda logical.... there was also the year 2315 or something like that on the chalkboard... that is the year where clockwerk's from... and bryner noggin helped clockwerk develop the time machine
I did talk about the possibility of Clockwerk originating from the future, it could easily explain the complex technology and his easter egg in 10 000 BC. If he did have a one way ticket travel to the past, why didn't he just kill off Bob? If he did, Sly wouldn't exist anymore.
