A special story created in honour of the 60th anniversary of the Bluebell Railway's preservation. Stepney is enjoying his new life on the Bluebell Railway, but when his new friends are terrorized by the appearance of a married couple on the line, he vows to uncover the truth behind this new danger. But only his friend, Fenchurch, knows how tragic the circumstances for these strange apparitions truly are…

Never felt so overwhelmed by such a sweet ending
Argh! I missed the premiere again! Sorry, guys. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed it! :) I look forward to Sunday's story - which concerns a brand new mystery for the one and only Sherlock Holmes!
Very touching story nearly brought me to tears. Never cross the railway line wise word their love make it to the end of the Grave
My eyes teared up a bit at the end
ITS SO BEAUTIFUL
:*)
Fun fact: This is based on an actual accident on the Bluebell Railway.
😨😱REALLY!?
Yes. I don’t know about ghosts of a wedding couple, but the Knapps were real people and were run down on that same section of line by a real engine long before the line became the Bluebell Railway.
Note: when it comes to writing original stories, I prefer to base at least one aspect of them on real-life railway incidents and events, similar to Awdry. Everything else I do generally to add my own spin on things.
The Title already makes me hyped
Good to hear that! Also be on the look out for a Sherlock Holmes mystery set on the Bluebell Railway. Both stories have been recorded and uploaded, and will be publicly released tomorrow, to commemorate both the Bluebell’s 60th anniversary and its return to steam following the lockdown.
Good Timing, I also do audio stories in a way but now I usually link them to the story in my videos
I used to have quite the collection of models that could use a revamp but due to me moving and the current state of the world I don’t know when or if I’ll get them back
Zoink's! like this one is going to be way scarier than the one from Vicarstown bridge disaster or lady Jane ghost stories or maybe anything else like that too.
Wait there was a Vicarstown bridge disaster story?
Yes. It’s one of my previous ones.
@@TARDIS9 what happened to the story?
Nothing. It’s still on my channel. It’s called ‘Barrow Engines: Story 1 - The Vicarstown Bridge Disaster’.
@@TARDIS9 thanks.
Bluebells forever
I like this it is so cool good job
0 dislikes Nice!
Question: What type of the Tender Engine was part of the accident or accident with Those Couples? I'm just asking just to know even when the engine is a she, I really don't know about what type of locomotive was she based off.
Ah. I’m afraid I don’t really know as well - that bit doesn’t appear to have been documented in the accounts of the accident the ghosts’ stories are based on. However, I often imagine the tender engine to be either an SER O1, or an LSWR N15 ‘King Arthur’, myself.
@@TARDIS9 I see, thanks for telling about it
What is the soundtrack at the start?
That's the instrumental version of 'The Island Song', one of the earliest Thomas songs.
um, do you think that there's going to be some Keven Macleod music in this story. I'm just asking.
Ah, no worries. But I won't say - it may spoil the surprise! :)
awesome!
New Halloween tale
Well, technically it was written to celebrate the Bluebell’s return to steam. The ghost bit was purely because I also like writing gothic fiction, and also wanted to use a real-life incident (not the ghost bit, but the reason why the ghosts died), as the Reverend would have wanted it to be.
It's a nice story there's no denying that but I don't get what the newly wedded couple were Thinking by walking down the railway line unless I made a miss judgement and they were crossing the line when it happened
Well, in all honesty, in the story their deaths are based on, the couple deliberately decided to walk on the line, so, given that it was the 40’s, I’d say it was a lack of regard for the possibility of their death - since this is during World War Two and before health and safety became a more significant concern.
would I be able to adapt this for video
Of course! Just remember to credit me for the story, and if you use things like my narration in it. Also if you do use my recording, don’t forget to credit the musicians I put in the original story’s description. On that note, if you want to adapt just the story, and do things like the narration yourself, do you want me to send you the original script?
@@TARDIS9 I'll just use your amazing narration
@@TARDIS9 thank you so much
@@TARDIS9 would I be able do adapt some of your other stories if I credit you for the story and narration
Sure! Just don’t forget to credit the musicians I used for each video as well.
Hey TRADIS9 Are you going to bring back the deleted videos
They are being gradually re-uploaded onto my other CZcams channel, called Bedtime Books For Children.
Where did you find the wedding couple?
Actually, I just used a couple of the Trainz figures from the Download Station. Can’t remember exactly what their names are on there, though, unfortunately. Say, how’s everything going with you anyway?
@@TARDIS9 hold up well. I think the comments I left for you will be enough for you to know and my recent streams too to help catch you up.
I hope u can be able to help fix Stepney
I'm very sorry, but I'm afraid I can't. I don't know much about that sort of thing. However, if you're having trouble with your model of him, I can send you the discord server for the Sodor Workshops team - someone there should be able to help you: discord.com/channels/201330239119294464/575181950826971168.
I hope this helps!
:)
Nice story. 😥😒🙂
Can you make the bluebell ghost without the audio
Erm, I’m not sure what you mean. Whether I do a visual adaptation (and I don’t really have enough time to do that atm) or not makes no difference - I’d still need the audio to provide a narration.
@@TARDIS9 Without a picture of Stepney and the people
Again, not really much sense. The picture is there to provide an illustration to the story. Do you mean a video of the story? If so, I’m a better writer than I am a filmmaker. Also, some stories work better on audio than they do as a video.
@@TARDIS9 so are you going to make another the bluebell ghost without the audio
Still not sure what you mean by ‘without the audio’, but no, I will not be doing a sequel. I prefer to avoid doing sequels, unless I deliberately plan for a story to be told in more than one installment (as is the case with my RWS-style volumes) - I just believe that some stories are best left alone once they are done.
What’s the music playing at 14:49?
‘Just One Person’ from Snoopy! The Musical.
