Loved your reaction. I discovered Chris back in 2014 when Justin Timberlake tweeted about him. I came right to youtube and believe it or not this was the first video of him I landed on back then. I was a goner from that moment on. Have fun going down the rabbit hole. lol

Also past performance “2021 CMA Awards “Cold” he won Grammys,CMA’s,etc., for it! He’s labeled‘Country’ but he’s soul,blues,a little rock & Outlaw Country all in 1 amazing voice! Writes his own songs also unless occasional cover. He’s in his own genre! He said in interview his influences were Etta James,BB King,James Brown & Outlaw Country oldies. He’s an amazing artist! And his wife sings harmonies w/him on a lot of his songs!! Thanks fren!

Every one of his songs deserves a listen. Another live banger is “I was wrong Austin city limits.” “Maggie’s song” is beautiful but kills me everytime I listen. “Outlaw state of mind” has my favorite guitar riffs. His cover of “nothing else matters” is insane. “Fire away” music video is sad af. Overall not a single song I don’t like
