No way! There was a second Spinosaurus!? I had no idea! I wish we could've gotten to see it on screen! Thank you, Swrve, for covering this! Amazing video! Keep up the great work!
I definitely like the idea that there was only one. It's partly what makes it so appealing. It's a real enigma.
Swrve never disappoints us
When has he ever disappointed us.
I know
Nope he never does
I really hope there will be more information about the first Spino!
i know that would be cool and i wounder if this spinosaurus and the one on isla sorna were twins
Maybe the spinosaurid skeleton in the volcano bit in the Blue VR game could’ve been Irritator but misidentified as either Baryonyx, Suchomimus, or Spinosaurus
No if you watch it with a VR you can clearly see very long spines coming out of the back. It also has the signature head Crest.
@@gabrieldale5156 Irritator has this feature as well
@@liopleurodonthedinoman3637no it didnt

So if that is a spinosaurus skeleton then it is around the size of a baryonyx wich means it was still young when died wich means it probably died around 2015-2016

Also I’m happy that we finally got a Spino vs Trex rematch in camp Cretaceous season 5. I really wished it was a live action rematch during Jurassic world, fallen kingdom, or at least during dominion. But I’m happy none the less we got another Rematch during camp Cretaceous season finale.
Plus the spino didn’t die or anything. It still counts as defeat but at least it gets to continue its life after being mind controlled for a large part of the series
I think there was a second, I've heard they changed the lore several times, but since I don't remember the sources that well, I can't confirm.
The Scorpios Rex might've killed it off.
If it was more complete rexy could have killed it
Lol no
This is interesting
Your theories are pretty convincing. I love it
Great Jurassic video as always swrve.
1:15 I wasn't expecting that.
Great vid swerve keep up the great content
My son loves your videos Swrve! He watches every video you post. He loves the stories of the dinosaurs from the movies. Thanks for everything you do Swrve.
❤️
Hallo Swerve, it’s always a good episode.
This a good vid love the content❤👍
Swrve is my favourite
I wish we could of seen the second spinosaurus hopefully in the next film at least
Maybe the skeleton could’ve been suchomimus. It has been confirmed to be in Jurassic world. But I’m not 100% sure if it had a sail or not.
I think it's Suchomimus to or they just put a spinosaurus in without thinking
Unrelated question: awhile ago you gave a shout out to fan made podcast/radio drama for Jurassic Park, and for the life of me I can’t find it. What was it called again?
I didn’t even know that there was a second spinosaurus that’s cool
Imo, there may have been a second spinosaurus cloned on Nublar but perhaps it was based off an updated genetic sequence (using more accurate data) to create a more realistic version of the animal.
I'd also like to think the original spino/the one in camp Cretaceous was more along the lines of a "monster" using very limited data and other DNA to fill in the gaps (hence the hyper aggression and strange monstrous appearance).
Maybe one day we'll get to see if.....
Something has survived?
Wow! I thought they make one spinosaurus.
Peashooter: yeah. I thought of it too. But, nope.
I think there is some secret uncanon lore in JWA that can be found. The indoraptor gen 2 for an example, is a confirmed creature in a cut content of fallen kingdom. What’s to say this second Spinosaurus doesn’t look like the Spinosaurus gen 2. Allosaurus gen 1 and two actually exist, and while these are a bit obvious, there may be other dinosaurs from JWA that might be canon.
1:17 me when i see the Spinosaurus take news headlines again
I hope the Spinosaurus will be in Jurassic World 4.
but how was the spino able to get from mentacorp island to the main land?
I think this is bit reaching. This could also be Suchomimus since they did kinda have elongated spine (no sail though)
It could also be multiple remains of different species. If there was a Spinosaurus on Nublar, it would have been a very popular attraction and territorial.
Spinosaurus be like as it killed the T. rex spino:It was a cannon event
I how hope the Spinosaurus returns to the movie franchise other than it returning in a kids show. I’m also hoping for Corythosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, Pachycephalosaurus & Ceratosaurus to return as well. And one more thing I would really love it my boi Carcharodontosaurus made its debut in franchise too.
For me, Camp Cretaceous is the same level as the movies, just animated and a series. But sometimes it got a bit more brutal than the movies
@@robinator678 More Brutal?!?! Dude they literally kill off the characters offscreen or behind something and they make the dinosaurs waste their time roaring at the kids before lunging at them, which is so annoying.
@@enderethan144 sure, they are off screen, but they sure are brutal. Mr Gold, Kash, the bald girl who got deleted by the compies. Also, the dinosaurs roaring before eating the kids is because of plot armor, same is the case with the movies.
@@robinator678 No not because of plot armour but because kids aren’t allowed to die or even get hurt because they think audience will be traumatised by a child dying on screen. I wouldn’t because I would be laughing my arse off. I f**king hate kids.
@@enderethan144 excuses, excuses. The main characters don't die in the movies because they have plot armour. Same is the case with the campers. Also, just so you know, you were also once a little child. Hating kids brings you nowhere. Just being toxic, and not understanding anything (like what's happening right now)
One spinosaurus was already a force to recon with now imagine if the two spinos were my n the movie together
Is this series exclusive to dinosaurs? If not, you should do an “entire story of” episode on Dr. Henry Wu

Just checked IMDB and couldn't find it, but on the cutting room floor for the third movie, Bruce Young's character found the spinosaur nest, so if what you're saying is in fact true, then there were three of them total, and who knows what the other spino was doing, but traditionally, the female is more defensive than the male with animals when the young is attacked. That means that dinosaur was really, really angry at the Kirbys. I'm scratching my head as to why on earth Trevorrow and Collins chose not to include the beastly animal in the Jurassic World trilogy. I think what needs to happen is to get the die hard fans of JP 3 and make some sort of commentary for the original third film, but I've got the Visual Guide book, and thinking I should pull that out and look at the details for JP3.....
hey swrve how are you
I have been wondering in JP3 the skulls in the pteranodon aviary are those the bones of the people on the boat in the beginning of the film
No Way! There’s 2?!
The thing is tho the skeleton is noticeably not much bigger than blue. Unless this specimen was a juvenile, it couldn’t make any sense.
Plus head crest is different. Looks more like a scientifically accurate spino, than the ones in the franchise
I had a feeling that it could have been the irritator from jurassic world the game
Swrve what do you think killed that spinosaurus or how it died.
My theory on how the second Spinosours died is because it probably had a fight with rexy and lost. Kinda explains the concept art of jwfk Rexy vs Spinosours and does kinda explain why Rexy just showed up out of nowhere and. That could be her nest if she doesn't still have her old one back at main street the way the second Spinosours died is that it did not have a reinforced neck like how JP3 Spino had. As i was saying Rexy would of crushed the neck of the Spinosours and kanda get back at JP3 Spino neck snap kill.
Man literally made this thing default dance on us...
It didn't just eat fish, but also included a healthy amount of "red meat" in its diet, clearly due to its need for significant amounts of protein.
I love the spinosurs
I’ve always believed that there were two spinos on isla sorna. And I think one of them was moved to isla nublar
I have a idea for the identity of the skeleton on mt sibo which is the ostafrikasaurus cause some of the photos of it show it having a medium sized sail on its back
Ostafrikasaurus was not confirmed to have been bred in secret nor public via Isla Nublar
I know one that was in session 5 or 6 but wer was the second won?
I heard a rumor about two spinosaurus a existing but I wasn’t sure if it was true until now
Its not.
Hey are you ever gonna give me credit for kenji dad being mantacorp boss
Swerve, in another video you said there were 4 living species of hybrid on JW trilogy, who was the fourth beside scropio indo and indominous?
Spino-sino ceratops from Camp Cretaceous
😮
If this skeleton from the VR game is the second Spinosaurus, it could explain why it died. If the Skeleton on Main Street is any indication, this second Spino would have been a lot smaller and potentially a lot weaker than its Isla Sorner counterpart.
The JP3 Spino was so big and tuff that it could take on a T-Rex and risked disrupting the ecosystem on Site B. But a smaller, less powerful, version of the animal would not have done nearly as much damage, and likely would have been easily taken out by a larger predator like the original T-Rex. Especially since this animal would have been all by itself and not apart of a pack.
Swrve. Wouldn't there be 3 spinosauruses. Because if that 2 spino you said is dead right before the events of Fallen Kingdom. But in the early making of JWFK, instead of Rexy attacking the Carno, she would instead attack the Spino. I don't know if you know about this information but just something to think about
We already know manta corps took the sponosaurus from
Site B … did you not watch camp Cretaceous ?
hell yeah that was good that a spinosaurus was on isla nublar in the first jurassic world movie could the second spinosaurus could be a twin to the first one on isla sorna it would be cool to see the second on in the 2015 jurassic movie to see if it would defeat the indominus rex with rexy and blue i think the spinosaurus on isla nublar didn't meet rexy and blue before don't you think swrve or anyone who was thinking that there was a second spinosaurus in the first jurassic world movie
I saw this video 21 mins after it came out
The spinosaurs skeleton in the dirt looks a bit bigger than blue it could be a juvenile or a secret hybrid living in the shadows or just a different species
That dpg picture is just weird to be honest as it adds so many species. I don't think it's about nublar as spinosaurus was subject to crultey in the amalgam testing
That is what I thought about it was not ased 87 that got captured to mantacorp island it was another spinosaurs
So there was one young spino on the isla nublar and one on the sorna that we know about
That makes me think, if there was a spinosaurus on Nublar, did Rexy encounter it? If so, she most certainly would have won since she is alive and that spino sadly isn't. This doesn't mean she can beat the jp3 spino so yeah. But that also makes me wonder. When did they clone this spinosaurus and how did it die. It might not have been Rexy, Maybe it was natural causes. Maybe that was the dinosaur in paddock 10. And could they potentially show Rexy in a prequel killing this spinosaurus to even the score between the two creatures? I know lots of people will hate me for that idea but that's just me making stuff up. I'm not in need of that. I just thought it's an idea future filmmakers could use.
To be fair, this vid is a theory. As we don’t have confirmation, only the ridiculously powerful jp3 spino is the only specimen created. The statue in nuclear ‘might’ have been a prop, considering the head crests are different
Amazing theory 👌 👏
Tbh, if the DPG said that it was extinct, how did they know that it wasn't there
For a time, I belived that the skeleton that we see in the main street belonged to the JP3's Spino and the reason why there had some physical differences in the skeleton was because Dr. Wu, or Masrani himself, asked to give it slight changes because, according to official websites, the JP3 individual was a illegal species.
Then came Camp Cretaceous season four and five, there finally shown that our old Spino still alive 😆.
About these deceased spinosaurus of Nublar, i belive that one of them once lived in the paddock ten and served as a regular attraction. Eventuatually, said spino died, from old age or another reason such desease, so it's skeleton was keep and mounted for decoration. The other individual, who's the skeleton is seen in Blue adventure's second epidode, maybe lived in the restrict area.
I think it's a Suchomimus
@@Breviparopus No. The skull is clearly of a spinosaurus.
@@tiagoking1312 you can't tell from the angle
@@Breviparopus I also belive that were suchomimus on nublar, but this exact skull don't match. A prove of suchomimus presence is in JWFK ending. In the moment that Claire was looking the cameras that films the dinosaurs in their pens, if you watch closely and in slow-motion, it's possible see one suchomimus. I can tell it because the long and very thin muzzle, more thinner than the baryonix's.
@@tiagoking1312 they were on the cretaceous cruise in the park. The website has the canonical design
I assume that this, particular, Spinosaurus must have been killed by some dinosaur, and as far as I know , Rexy is the only one capable of doing that

Wait. hold up. WAIT A MINUTE. Your telling me there’s 2 spino’s in the Jurassic park/world universe I thought there was only one from isla sorna from JP3 and it got transported to mantah corp island during Jurassic world camp Cretaceous.
There is only one confirmed Spino. He isn’t always right, just like when he said Asset 87 and Jp3 Spino were different specimens, when it has been confirmed multiple times that they were the same
1 minute Gang
If you look at jp3 you will see there actually three spinos on sorna
I think it's a Suchomimus skeleton
Spicy eater
It's a canon event
The question is, how did it die?
First
I mean it could really be THE 2nd Spinosaurus, but is it just me or does the skeleton on the ash ground look more like a suchomimus?🧐
You may actually be correct because the original spinosaurus was not a real spino but a fused hybrid with other species. It wouldn’t be to far fetched if Jurassic world made a pure spinosaurus for their theme park
No.
No it wasn't.
That was just a stupid theory the Rex fanboys made up to cope with the outcome of the JP3 fight.
Asset 87 the one and ONLY Spinosaurus in the franchise from JP3 was NOT a juiced up Hybrid.
It had frog DNA to fill the gaps but nothing more. He is just like every other Ingen Dino.
@@spider-man500 gotta love how confidently wrong you are
Well, the Scorpios Rex is the cemented, producer-proven, first hybrid dinosaur. The spino, technically is not. But it probably has A LOT of modern day DNA supplements. Jurassic world very likely could have fixed that
@@TheDinoNerd that could be a possiblilty gud thinkin
@@spider-man500 i don't really think you have been watching swrve videos, let me explain. Yes almost every dinosaur from either jp or jw was created using frog dna, and biosyn using bone protein. Asset 87 was not a true spinosaurus but a dinosaur called an almagonation of combined dinosaurs with the frog dna to make the spinosaurs, and during the past events of jurassic park this spinosaurus was part of the first almagonation project until isla sorna was abandoned. and the spino went loose and now resides on manta corp island
Is there really a second spinosaurus?
Yes
I mean it could be limbo
Wonder how it died?
I’m not gonna lie but I don’t think that there is a second spino and the skeleton on Main Street is probably one that’s been dug up by archaeologists

A second spinosaurus ?
I think I’m Jurassic world domination I think instead of the gigasaurs (what ever you spell it) vs the trex fighting for the deer I think It should have been spino vs giga and the giga would have killed the spino then have sexy vs giga would have given us closure
I’m a T-Rex person. No offense
Jp3 spino and camp Cretaceous spino 2 spino
Nope, JP3 & CC Spino are the same animal
My thing is in the franchise the Spinosaurus is a apex predator, how the hell did it fall into extinction? I say if anything it would have made an impact on the biology of the island way before it began to erupt. It might have even out compete Rexy for food had they not cross paths.
The dinosaurs in red are ones who suffered. None of them besides Edmontasauars, Metracrathassuars(sorry if I butchered any of those names.) went extinct. It was probably dpg propaganda. Too push their narrative.

Wouldn't the Spinosaur attempt to swim off the island or be more coastal. It would kinda be cool to see what happening on the mata Corp Island because it is cannon it just disappears basically. Which seems weird cause you think we should hear about it. Especially this is what Claire wanted the original Nublar dinosaurs to have is their own island. I think we need more into this matter. Swvre your the man to solve this problem.
