      Very welcome. I dont have anything on remastering VHS at the moment. What is it that you do when you remaster vhs videos? What kind of tool would help with this process?

    Hello, I have purchased CB Sharpen and it works very well. I am an amateur I don't have time to sharpen my clips one by one. How do I apply the sharpen tool to all the film? I have tried to select all the film and drop the sharpen tool but it doesn't work. Thank you!

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před rokem

      You could try using an Adjustment Layer/Clip to apply sharpening to all the footages below it. I think the results may vary since it would be a general adjustment to all the clips, but if you do it in small steps, should work out fine. I honestly never tried it so I’m intrigued to see if it works. I’ll try it out myself.

      What you could also do is copy the video clip that has the sharpen filter already on it. Then select all other clips and hit "alt+V" and then chose to paste attributes onto the other videos and that should then make the sharpen filter be actived on all videos in your timeline (In case you selected all of them)

    CB,
    I’ve downloaded CB Sharpen, added it to the Fusion Effects Library, it shows up, and I’ve applied it to a clip. In the Inspector, though, the controls don’t show (threshold, blend, etc.). CB Sharpen shows up in the inspector, but there’s nothing below it. Consequently, I can’t use any of the controls. I’m using DVR 17 Studio. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

      I’ll double check it this weekend. Something may have updated and broke the controls.

      Heck of a fast reply. I dropped it into the folder again, and it now works. The wrinkle is that I now have an effect labeled "CB Sharpen" and one labeled "CB Sharpen/CB Sharpen". The second one works; the first still doesn't show the controls. I guess I'll just delete the first one.

      @@Stashbin that is weird. Its rare that macro tools give me problems, but if it worked on the second one, I’m guessing its just a bug with resolve. Cheers! Hope it speeds up your workflow.

    Hey,
    I know this is kind of a noob question, but I can't figure out a way to do it. How do you resize a rectangle from only one size? When I change it's size it expands from the opposite side too, so I can't make an animation of a rectangle expanding down for example. Can you help?

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 3 lety +1

      Nit with the rectangle mask, but try the polygon mask and right click and convert it to a rectangle/square.

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 3 lety +1

      @@a7medetman150 possibly. Ive been working on trying to make something similar, but its not as easy as in AE. The hard part, is recreating the procedural fire like Saber. But at the core, its basically just a polygon mask, that reveals a fractal noise with some effects and animates along the mask. I’ll keep working on it.
