The fact that Maison Alhambra can produce these quality fragrences in such a similar bottles shows how much Tom Ford is ripping off their customers. You are paying for the name.

Ive seen several posts, and video's about the Maison Alhambra discontinuing the Tom Ford line. Had ordered Tobacco Touch yesterday. Tried to get Neoroli, but the prive was like 49$. Have Bright Peach and I love it.

1/15/24-I just ordered 4 of the Maison alhambra line off Amazon...I got toscano leather, tobacco touch, woody oud, and porto neroli...each bottle was low $20's. Can't wait!

I don’t think the issue is with the fragrances being cloned, but more so about the presentation of these clones being so identical to the original.

Yes I think it’s deeper then bottle design something had to happens for them to go after Maison alhambra something behind the scenes because Tom ford in my opinion has a cult following like apple products people are going to buy it no matter what

The bottles looked much different than what they tried to clone, just plain basic bottles
But yea i totally think the presentation and design of the TF's is what made the difference here

I think they lose money in the sense that if there were no clones of Tom ford like Alhambra more people would save up to buy the real thing but if you can get something that smells 90% like Tom ford at 10% of the price why go for the expensive version?

I bought back up bottles of most of the clones... I have too many Tom Ford clones now.. From Amber and Leather (2) to Toscano Leather (2) to Galatea (2) to Rare Carbon, Oud Wood (2), Carved Oud (2). Big fan of Amber and Leather and wish I got another bottles when it was under $20 CAD.

@@Thefragranceshow Well now it makes more sense since I watched this, I couldn't understand why they would discontinue such popular fragrances aside from the intellectual property aspect. This also explains why every time I buy fragrances lately I get bombarded with Porto Neroli ads.

Got Lovely Cherie and Bright Peach, didn’t like the Peach too much bc of the play-doh scent that lingers throughout the wear (how do y’all make it work??), but absolutely LOVED the Cherry. I gotta pair it with Tobacco Touch for sure! Thanks for your to-the-point video as always
No problem and yes I can see the play-doh smell you point out but that’s just the peach lol and although I think it’s a good scent I prefer cherie over it as well I don’t wear the peach as much I think more suitable for a woman after testing it for weeks ,
Try Honey Peach by Flavia, I honestly think is better, also their Cherry version I like best .

Yooo bro they are pretty close in smell but me personally I wound role with tuscano leather the overall performance is better to me

These bottles are so clean, a full collection of this Maison Alhambra Line would look so good, but I dont really have a use for Tobacco Touch or Woody Oud.

I got two more bottles when I heard they were being d listed , 2 weeks ago about . I got a back up bottle to woody oud and one bottle of tobacco touch . Tom ford private blend is not worth the money , and I believe MA proves how overpriced TF is . Like woody oud is oud wood only difference I smell if there is a difference, is woody oud is ever so slightly more spicy in a way but it’s so vague.

I have come to the conclusion that clones are roughly half the price of what the originals can be bought for, are not as close to the original or as good as people say, and not worth it to me anymore.

I have been a collector for many years before coming on CZcams and I will say in my experience some are hit and miss but it change the game for me I have owned mostly ever major designer fragrance known to man and once I discovered clones I sold mostly my whole inventory and made the change over to clones and middle eastern fragrances
