I found daft punk when I was 3, But the thing is that my whole entire family likes daft punk, my brothers AND HECK EVEN MY PARENTS
the way it starts really slow, then slowly builds up through the lyrics represents for me the different stages of life. Such as when it is first starting and it is just the beat is when you are a baby/child, then goes onto the beginning lyrics which are your adolescence/teens, then goes onto the full lyrics which is your 20's and 30's, and then just the ever increasing heartbeat sound which is your 40's and onwards until ultimately your death.
i mean, it's not like it's not fitting. halfway through you might as well stop listening

This presents time and running out of time perfectly. First it starts with a normal instrumental, with the vocals "The prime time of of your life" played repetitively, suggesting that you are in the prime time of your life. As more words are added it's less of an inspirational saying, and more of a warning. It implies that you are running out of time. Then, at the halfway point of the song, the lyrics fade away, suggesting that you've passed your prime and are now too old to live life. The song ultimately ends with the death of the listener.

That last bit of the song made me cry 😭 as it sped up I had flashbacks of random memories, from a child to till now 25 and imagined growing old, felt like that last bit of the song was in a way a metaphor of life... it speeds up as u get older then silence (death) first time hearing this and it honestly made me feel some type of way 10/10 this track is brilliant

Discovered this song just recently. I think it’s the kinds that’s really open to a lot of different reads. For me, it feels like it’s about how inundating it can feel to be constantly told to “live your life to the fullest” while you’re young.
The main word feel like they’re oppressive, constantly shouting over and interrupting each other. LIVE IT! NOW! ITS THE BEST TIME OF YOUR LIFE! LIVE IT! NOW!!!!!
While it’s not an inherently hostile message, the constant invasive delivery makes it anxiety inducing. It can start to feel like every slow moment should be spent “living”.
This builds and builds until all you’re left with is that increasing sense of pure anxiety, the rapidly increasing beat mirroring a full blown panic attack
That first "Do It" made me think I was listening to an Alive mix of this and "Harder Better Faster Stronger"

the music *videos* of technologic and this are nightmare fuel, honestly i dont think skeletons are scary but for some reason in this video it gives me the shizzles
I didn't find technologic MV creepy at all
But yeah, the MV for this song gave me goosebumps as a younger child. The skeletons weren't creepy at all for me, but the shots of the girl cutting herself and ripping off the rest of her skin was mega disturbing

Whenever I listen to this song, I always imagine riding in some kind of car that's on a track, like a moving sidewalk. And when you hear "liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiifffffffffffffffffe", the car stops, and suddenly starts slowly spinning. And as the song speeds up, the car starts spinning faster and faster. And eventually I hear myself quoting Willy Wonka's famous scream from the original tunnel scene.
