  • All together this job will take 10 minutes MAX. The hardest part of this job is having a 5.5mm socket. I didn't have that in my arsenal for a long time.
    Tools needed:
    5.5mm socket
    extension
    T10 TORX
    flat head screwdriver or trim tool.
    I hope this helps. On my drive home I realized my wipers leave streaks now so I will need new wipers too. plan for that if your have been doing this for a while.

    Been doing on and off for the last couple of months. 2016 F-150 with over 76, 000 miles. But it does from time to time. I told my mechanic he was surprised. So thus led my search to see if I’m not crazy lol!

      Nope! It is crazy something so random didn’t become a recall.

    Just bought mine at Ford Parts this week and it was 119.00 out the door for the same part. Super easy to change out, took about 15 minutes. Oh......2015 F350 here.

      Crazy how coming the issue is and ford hasn’t changed it at all. Oh well comes with the brand I guess. Hope this helps.

    That gunk is thermal paste and they use wayyyy too much! 2012 F250 replaced new in August and its doing it again. Will clean the crap out of it this time and see what happens.

    Where is the relay or the fuse for the wiper motor for 2020 ford F-150

    • @Papajoesgarage
      @Papajoesgarage  Před 5 měsíci

      That is a good question I would assume under the hood in the fuse box there but not sure if there is another one in the can or not.
