    I like the combo's You made! Colours are great! Even the Vine Glass with the sticked cooky on it is one of a kind. My definition of a Vine Glass is actuelly with Foot, like the wrong one. The style of it is great from far!

    Beautiful. Winter Wood is becoming one of my trusted favorites. Seems like anything looks awesome with it. Frosted Lemon and Blue Opal look great over it. I will be trying that Blue Surf. Good to see the Honey Flux in action. Have only used as a flux so far. Good luck and I hope you sell everythjng!

      Thank you! I have had my eye on Blue Opal, but I haven't ordered any yet. I have only ever used Honey Flux as a base to encourage the top glazes to run...I'll have to try swapping them around and see what happens.

    Oh my gosh I can’t believe all of these beautiful pieces. I love how the honey flux looks over the leaf textures!! When you glaze with celadons that show streaks you can crosshatch each coat and that helps a lot, especially if you’re using a good fan brush. Crosshatching is when you go in 3 different directions when you glaze. If you can’t tell I’m commenting throughout me watching this. Sorry. Lol. I need soo badly to see how you remove the cookies. I have some amaaazing pieces that are stuck to the cookies where the glaze came down onto the cookie ALL the way around the base!! If you could even tell me how you do it and what tool it is that you use on your dremel!! Thanks so much. I agree with the speedball underglaze! It is so odd it’s like jello! Best of luck with selling your pots!! I haven’t sold any of mine either and I have a ton!! I found a show that wants to carry my pots and they open the weekend of Mother’s Day! I can’t wait.

    • @luckymudpottery
      @luckymudpottery  Před 2 lety

      I do tend to apply in different directions for some of the Celadons to avoid the streakiness (although, sometimes the shape of the piece makes that difficult). I did film the cookie removal, I just need to get me butt in gear and edit the video so that I can post it!

    Blue surf is the base for midnight rain. I usually glaze blue surf at the bottom when using midnight rain. Reduces the risk of it flowing off the piece.

    I love all your glaze combos. When you make the WW with Norse blue then blue surf wave in the middle. How many coats of blue surf do you use? It looks light like maybe just 1 coat. Thanks!

    Do you do videos where you show your glaze application process?

    • @luckymudpottery
      @luckymudpottery  Před 2 lety

      I have had a couple people ask me for making and glazing videos. I plan to get some videos like that up soon. In the mean time, if you have any questions about glazes on a specific piece, let me know and I'll tell you how they were applied.
