Ironically, when I think of apple spitting…. I will always think of Carlito and never Razor…. His was the toothpick flick
That’s because Razor Ramon only did it once during that 1 vignette where Carlito not only did it for his vignette but he did it his entire career in the WWE. Razor Ramon may have done it in 1 of his vignette but it wasn’t his stick to do it all the time in all his matches or after matches like it was for Carlito.

I met Carlito twice, both at fan fest events, he was a class act both times, the second time I met him, it was 3 years later, he actually remembered me from the previous meeting with him, I kinda marked out, the fact he remembered me, I thought it was so cool,,, No pun intended lol

A similar thing happened to my little brother with the new day as he'd gone to a meet up on his birthday and the next year they sent him a birthday card over twitter. A lot of the people at wwe are some of the nicest most down to earth people ever and I love it

I always thought he was a mix between Razor in '93 and The Rock (in the Nation) in '98. Carlito is one of my faves from the ruthless aggression era.

When Carlito performed in a Road to Wrestlemania event here in Manila back in 2005, he was cheered even as a heel. He was surprised at the Carlito chants he was getting, so he briefly went off character to praise the audience back, and then quickly went back to working the crowd as a heel. It was a blast! And his match with Mick Foley at that time was unforgettable.
Carlito definitely gave me extreme Razor Ramon vibes. Of course, aside from being an apple-spitting heel with a latino accent and similar vignettes; Carlito won the IC title in his first match, and Razor Ramon was a very prominent IC champion who won the title 17 months after his debut. And, in the vignettes, they had a similar casual, Caribbean style of dress.
Carlito won the IC title in his first match on RAW after getting drafted there, but he won the US title in his debut match on SD! 😎
