      @@BOOSTEDLASER - I had prediabetes. Which leads to fatigue, easy fat gain, excessive appetite, and falling asleep after eating carbs. When prediabetes goes far enough, blood sugar will eventually get too high, and then you have diabetes. Yes, losing weight did completely cure me. It is reversible. There is a book on it: The Diabetes Code.

    Hey man, you can hear the "woosh" in the air when chopping! Definitely a SERIOUS weapon!!!

  • @random_eskimo_in_the_rockies

    I have 3 EGKH Kukri blades lying on the floor of my den, all broken off just above the handle. EGKH does NOT have what it takes to be a truly hard-use Kukri. When I left Alaska (I'm a school teacher) I left my 2 Himalayan Imports and my 1 Tora Blades Kukris with former students, and I've no doubt they're still processing firewood and occasionally setting up hunting camps in what truly is "The Last Frontier" today. EGKH and KHHI (which are essentially the same place) are no longer worth a penny of my blade budget.

    This is sirupate. khukuri has many version ,this one however was used on the battlefield.. For Chopping people's head off... In many nepali customs once you unsheathe the sirupate you have to draw blood , only then you should put it back... Other versions of khukuri are used for household chores and cutting meat and vegetables, or wood.

    What a awesome blade.
    I gotta ask how does the fit and finish compare to your 12in GGK kukri. I have a sirupate from GGK I absolutely love it.
    I kinda stayed away from ex Gurka because the blades I saw were on the very thick side. Not that that's a bad thing just not what I wanted in a woods blade.
    I'm still thinking about that 12in super fast kukri I also like the traditional rat tang. They tend to be weighted better with no vibration. In my limited experience.
    What's your opinion if you had to save up to get one (which I do)😊 which one would you get for actual use like a camp hatchet not a ax. Or a trail clearer

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  Před rokem +1

      Depends on which model you get, I think all the forges have certain models that are the best fit and finish, but most expensive, so this model is not one of those, but they have others that are.

    • @WeAllJuggleKnives
      @WeAllJuggleKnives  Před rokem +1

      This would make an excellent blade for the coolness factor and if you ever need to chop something, I would go with this one because the more practical kukris will always be around, so you can always get one of those later.

      @@WeAllJuggleKnives and interesting you got yours off of kukrismanufacturing and they have a separate site that’s a more established forgery but still owned by EGKH. The more established site is the forgery that’s been around 15 years and their site is nepalkhukrihouse. The one you and a couple other CZcamsrs link, their forgery has been around only a couple years. And their prices are cheaper. From what I think I understood on the phone/assume is they can’t charge as much because they aren’t as established potentially. But it’s literally the same company just a newer forgery. Spoke to Imal on the US/Canada warehouse end of things today. He said he’s not a super big dude either and recommended an 11 inch variant. I can just wait a little longer and snag both at the same time and really nerd out lol. Thanks for replying.
