photorealistic and superb fragrance.
- this is one of my favorite reviews you have ever done… Love the enthusiasm and range of information and interpretation… I haven’t smelled that particular fragrance but I have sampled a bunch from the house. I always find their fragrances interesting. I felt similarly about Remarkable People… That it would be great if it had some weird twist -a dash of something to clash a bit. Then one time I was wearing Remarkable People while putting gas in my car and the smell of the gasoline mingled with the perfume . perfect. Wish I could have bottled it.

This ones an absolute stunner.. With one of the most convoluted, hard to pronounce names in the biz🤔 when people ask me what I’m wearing, I say look it’s complicated😝

I think this is a fantastic fragrance. It is very unique but very wearable at the same time. The opening is a little harsh but dries down beautifully.

I love this house and just got a 'discover' set of 7 2ml samples. I like all of them, love a few, but they all seem to have a few things in common. They all lay fairly soft and close to my skin, very little projection. They are mostly very light and subtle scents, none of them announce themselves. But what prevents me from buying a whole bottle of any of them is the short longgevity i get on my skin. I can only smell it for a few hours, after that, it's a very faint powdery scent I have to press my nose to my skin to smell it.
This sounds really interesting, I love pepper in fragrances, one of my favourites is Dunhill Icon, the pepper in the opening is great.

Really appreciate knowing about europeperfumes.com. I'm in western New York so so maybe the wait time for my samples would be short, too! I always rush home from work to check for my samples like I'm an eight year old.
Also, I think I'm starting to finally get a handle on the ambroxan note. At first it was just too plastic for me, but now I'm starting to feel it gives some scents their modern flair.

Gracias Steven! I tried this as one of my scents from scentbird and I initially hated it. I thought it was kinda weird and somewhat floral and couldn't ever see myself wearing it. I wore it on my wrist a couple of times casually and warmed up to it. Wore it a couple more times and liked it even more. I last wore it to the movies: Infinity War and now I am addicted to Herman a mes. This is definitely not a blind buy but I can not wait to purchase a whole bottle. I've never smelled anything like it. I have not received compliments but I feel good when I wear this out which is good enough for me. Cheers!

Hello ! I've been a subscriber to your youtube channel for sometime now and I always find them very informative & enjoyable.
I have "END OF THE WORLD" by this same company and the one you're reviewing sounds like one I may need to add to my collection. A side question! As an owner of Serge Lutens chergui, pre reformulation, can you tell me when it was first reformulated? I sent you a message on fragrantica, asking this question. not sure how often you visit the site. I thought it was 2010 and I just heard of a reformulation happening in 2015..

THELUVOFG Hey, Al! Great to hear from you. This is a great fragrance, and it's worth sampling at the least. I'm actually not sure when Chergui was reformulated. I believe I bought my bottle in 2012, and I recall hearing about the reformulation a couple years later, so perhaps 2014. Thank you for watching!
This is totally different perfume and there is no other similar indeed. In my opinion there are few perfumes those never repeated or copied, for instance JOOP RED, ARAMIS & Devin , and JIL SANDER BACKGROUND. HERMANN is one of these few. Hopefully the company won’t stop it.
