F-15E GoPro flying - 391 FS Pacific TSP

- In 2014, the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base deployed 12 F-15E Strike Eagles from the 391st Fighter Squadron. This deployment was part of a Theater Security Package to the Pacific Theater to provide multi-role airpower to the PACOM Commander. This 4 month 2-location journey was the result of months of hard work & preparation from the entirety of the 366 FW.
While operating at Hickam AFB, Hawaii, these Airmen showcased the versatile combat capabilities of the 366th FW, excelling as the first operational F-15E Squadron to participate the 22-nation Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC). Following RIMPAC, the 391 EFS forward-deployed to the Republic of Korea. While in Korea the 391 EFS executed joint training with the ROK Air Force, further bolstering Korean peninsula security and reinforcing partnerships. Thanks to an amazing team effort, the 391 EFS was able to exceed their forecast sorties & flying hours for their 4 month deployment.

@@mervyncodrington3611 I don’t disagree with that but in order to be selected to become a fighter pilot you have to pass medical examinations which are horribly strict and you have no control on that. I don’t know how strict it is in the US but here in most European air forces it’s something almost impossible to pass so you can be an extremely talented engineer, have as many degrees as you want, have an outstanding respect for ground crew and be the most motivated person on Earth, if you fail at the medical stage you’re fucked plain and simple that’s why you have to be lucky not to have any disease or anomaly that would discard you as nobody chooses his body and everything that comes with
@@petersjeanpaul9071 the medical stuff arent actually that strict u have to be like 1.50 to 1.95 meters long to be a fighter pilot and majority of people pass that (it depends on the plane but most planes have it like 1.60 1.95 and your eyesight dont need to be any good aswell 20/20 vision is a lie you can get surgery and fly just fine other than that if you dont have any health problems that are (usually) rare that cause you to be less intelligent than most people and stuff like that also being short helps you pull g's easier so short people actually have an advantage if they can get in but other than what i've mentioned there is still luck involved like getting good childhood and education

These F-15E's are from Mountain Home AFB, ID. They were here for Sentry Aloha. We also don't have F/A-18's. The Guard operates F-22's, C-17's, and KC-135's on the Air Force side.

I love how every jet video complains about the music. Look, the music here sucks I know, but have you heard raw cockpit audio? Jet's aren't musical like cars it's all KSHHHHHHHHHHH-K-KSHHHHHH
Just watch it on mute if the music sucks, you're really not missing anything. Planes can sound cool outside breaking sound barriers and stuff, but in the confines of the cockpit it's all grating white noise that pilots are mostly insulated from anyway.
