The Dirty Haggard Audio Degrade is a unique fuzz/distortion pedal with some peculiar tricks up its sleeve. It features DHA’s massive signature sonic footprint, and its uniquely musical noise gate. The centerpiece of Degrade’s functionality is the Mix knob. Max it for 100% fuzztortion. Roll it back, and it offers many shades of grime, including relatively mellow harmonic enhancement, and parallel clean/dirt sounds that are great for bass or any other low instrument. The CLN FLTR knob is another point of interest - it controls how much treble and high mids are mixed into the clean signal. Fully CCW is wide open, with further attenuation of high end as you turn it CW. In this demo video, I show you how to employ Degrade's many tonal colors on guitar and bass, first in a full-band musical number, and then, as I twist all the knobs this way and that, and dig into the nuts and bolts of its functionality.

Hi there! May be I noticed wrong in the video, at 5:35, the mix looks like at 0 but I can sti hear sounds. Is that how it works? Am I missing something? Glorious riffs! Thanks!
Thank you! Much appreciated. When the mix is at 0, you hear only the dry guitar sound straight into the amp. As I turn the mix up, it blends in the fuzz signal from the pedal.
