Take it from someone who has severe lack of sleep right now. I have sleep apnea and in the past 7 months My tonsils have been swallowing form bad allergies.
Even on days where I can get sleep I can't get good sleep.
I'm consistently tired, My memory is gone I keep calling people different names. I can't remember stuff that was just told to me.
    I'm anxious i'm depressed.
But good news I got a surgery in 2 months to try to cure it all.

@Tahshin Khan broke my back in 4 places, severe pain ever since. at the end of every REM cycle my body basically starts screaming at me to get off my back and ribs.

@@zernoofficial just enough for me to sit up kinda. UK NHS has some kinda doctrine that they wont ever mess with a spine unless its life threatening. so this level of sleep gets you a really messed up memory, almost nothing seems to get converted to long term mems when we usually sleep, I could write about this stuff all day and still not be done :/

Good video, but work on your vocal pacing and annunciation :)

@@zernoofficial hey man, not who you were asking but here’s my input if you want it.
You’re enunciating clearly enough *most* of the time - there’s a few words that “run” (I.e. “so what’s the solution?” towards the end of the video) that couldn’t definitely been re-recorded to emphasize each word a little more clearly. It’s not your pronunciation, just the way that you’re hitting certain syllables isn’t performative, if that makes sense.
The issue with pacing, at least to me, also comes down to emphasis. You present specific points (data points and ideas) and immediately launch into the next setup. Give even a couple of seconds of hang time for the conclusion of a specific train of thought to process and really land for the audience.
Your structure is sound, the information and editing was very well done and presented. Honestly, the only thing that could use a little work is your vocal performance, and that’s my best tip: perform. With this kind of video, you need to take on a performative voice. You’re teaching us, not sharing some cool new info with the homies, and the authoritative tone necessary for a video essay (even a short one!) is a key component to the format.
      Definitely subbing, good luck dude!

@@zernoofficial i disagree with the other dude. you need to enunciate better. you're slurring your words. also, take this as a feedback, this video contains very little bullet points. you're not giving the viewer new information. yes, most people already know lack of sleep is bad and it's bad for our emotional state. where's the crisis tho? where are the stats? what made you put that title? i felt mislead and dropped a dislike to your video because of it. nothing i already didn't know so it wasted my time. again, title is important. i would have been interested in the "crisis" aspect.

@@gareth6517 Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I think there's truth to what you're saying, I should have expanded more into the crisis by talking about how half of Americans are sleep deprived and what specific health problems are coming from this. I need to make sure the video properly address the thumbnail and title.
