Draymond is the type of guy that can easily take 25 mins to answer one question. He's mind is very analytic.
This was the most respectful "mind yall broke ass business"
As Draymond’s maturity grows so does my respect for him💪🏾I appreciate his realization that BBall and the trifling fans that want them to be mortal enemies are not forever.

Some fans need to realize that players’ friendships are just like theirs in their lives. Pay attention to and invest in your own versus worrying about theirs for your entertainment. Solid segment, fellas. 👏👏👏
That’s why the nba was boring in Lebron’s generation, all the players were friends with each other and every three months we had another superteam, thanks to giannis and jokic this boring era will end
@@ezelegui7901not just them, but you can also see that a lot of the new guys didn’t grow up playing together. They all came from different backgrounds so it definitely adds to the competitiveness
I agree but these are different eras and social media made it that they all know each other since children so different setting
@@ezelegui7901mJ and Barkley literally played golf together dawg
@@Nick-sr4fe the myth that 90's players hate each other and modern players in LeBron's generation were soft bcoz of friendship was just a straight up delusion and a depressed immatured mentality.
Much respect to both. Good dudes and family men.
Draymond is a good dude, LeBron is a traitor and scumbag.
The “Invest your time in something else” argument is very interesting. Because the NBA is such a huge success because of the fanatics. I love the game of basketball but I don’t pay a single cent to watch games, buy merch, etc. It is the die hard fans who invest their time, and energy which makes these guys make more than 99% of the world population
That’s false, most of your money is made off of casual fans that’s why they make all these rule changes to appeal to the masses. That’s why espn talks about Lebron 95 percent of the time…Casuals will always make you the most money in damn near every field
I totally agree with you . I’m conflicted in draymonds argument because he and many sports stars will not earn millions were it not for fanatics who invest their time and energy into following a sport.
His sport and value of the nba will not be what it is if it wasn’t for fanatics.
There will be no value in winning championships were it not for fanatics who make the story what it is.
@@whatchusayintv Fair point. To reach the masses you must focus on the casuals. I don’t think I expressed myself correctly though. My main point was to oppose that attitude these guys have (which I used to believe as well) that it makes no sense why people care so much about these athletes and celebrities. I’ve come to realize that the main reason they are able to make so much money is because of the fact that people care so much about things that shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of life. Just my opinion. I’m always willing to be wrong and learn. God bless🙏🏿
@@seanseany6481 Yup!! You expressed my point much better than I did LOL. Thank you😂😂. God bless🙏🏿
@@emmanueloppong9778 haha thanks and also I get it there’s great sacrifice and self gratification and achievements for athletes like draymond who excel in their sport and he could possibly argue that the fans don’t really matter.
But at the same time would athletes invest much time and effort into their craft were it not for the fans who make sports narrative what it is on a global scale?
This also goes for the appealing to casual point the guy above made.
There would be no espn to cover and focus on specific athletes to appease casuals if it weren’t for dedicated fans that make sports what it is beyond a financial scale I.e the narrative, the pressure , the praise, the love and the hate from fanatics
I don’t get why people think it’s so odd when MJ was best friends with Charles Barkley and a BUNCH of other players used to go to his house for cigars and poker games the night before games

There’s a gap between Bron and Draymond but now a lot of these young guys coming in have already played together or played against each other numerous times, so the relationships are already there
Of course yall chose that photo for the thumbnail 🤣🤣🤣

Regarding the "I hate you mindset" ....." but in return I ruin relationships" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nothing Draymond said was wrong, and he's not the reason why old school rivalries are gone. Lebron and KD are the ones who motivated other players to use their leverage instead of being loyal to one team.
Why be loyal when the executives aren’t 😂
Look at what loyalty got Lillard. Blazers don't want to trade him but they gonna cost him more all-NBA awards by forcing him to sit so they can tank.
@@benyang9904 I agree that they shouldn't be, I'm just saying no one should be pointing their fingers at Draymond and calling him soft

That “I hate everybody on the other team” Draymond was a better player though. I think that dawg mentality brings the best out of some players because if everyone else wants to be friendly than the savage mentality is a big advantage.
There comes a point where that can bleed into a person's life off the court, though. That's what Draymond is saying.

Straight BS. It was obvious Dray didn’t have that same edge, tenacity, toughness against either LeBron or Davis in the Lakers series! Case in point: a year earlier, against the Celtics. He was a massive instigator. Hard fouls on Jaylen Brown. Being extra physical. Talking mad trash. Getting technical fouls! He had none of that same energy against the Los Angeles. Even in the first round series this year, he was yapping hella hard at Sabonis. Completely taking him out of his game. Any non-Lakers fan saw that Draymond was a water downed version of himself against LeBron.

Dray was super soft on the lakers series and that’s a big part of why LA won. Dude was almost non existent. He might not notice how it effects his game but trust me, lebron do.
