I am 69 and just found Collective Soul. Incredible band, inspirational words , and turn some songs way up for maximum effect,
That’s awesome. I’m 34, but been listening and a fan since I was about 5. My mom got us into them cuz she saw them live in 92 and next thing ya know they got big on the radio. Their music is timeless and always brings nostalgia
Same here....lyrics, vocals and sound truly resonate with me.....their energy & delivery are captivating.....
I’m late to the party at 43 but making up for lost time.
I hear ya , I’m 65 and truly enjoy all their music.
How could you have missed them in the 90's. They had 7 #1 hits. I knew of them in '93, but when I saw them live in '94 and I went out and bought their CD, they have been one of my favorite bands since then.
ED HAS A REALLY UNIQUE VOICE, LOVE HIS SINGING
They are the most underrated band of all time !!
totally agree! Best band post 1990
Never saw this band live. After watching this I certainly will put it on my bucket list. God bless these boys and look forward to seeing their live show wherever and whenever that may be.
Midnight special
Hell yea they are!!! I remember seeing them in 1999 and thinking wow they should be appreciated way more
MOST DEF DUDE!!!!! They are awesome and under a rock for most ppl

Thank you love bug ❤️
Only wish they played run. I still think about Varsity Blues and bring a teenager. Of course it's sad Paul Walker is gone also. But Run is such a great track, makes me a bit sad and nostalgic.
Thanks for your effort. They are so excellent!
@@gav240z I would love to find another version of vent somewhere. That song ROCKS
The first song is called "Heavy"
I'm 21 and I just got my first tattoo, which is the Collective Soul logo. People tell me all the time that I'm just going to regret it and forget about the band in a few years. If only I could should them this video and make them understand how Collective Soul is not one to easily be forgotten about! I cherish this video as it has some of the personal, humorous and fun side of the band shining through, as well as some of their best performances of certain songs, ever. Thanks for doing this with my favorite band in the world.
@joy rosenbaum I played the same song as I was driving home from the airport, I had just seen Collective Soul live in Atlanta 3x in a row this year. Met the whole band and talked with Ed on some steps for 20 minutes... video is on my channel! Anyway he signed a book I had and wrote "You are love" in there and I'm getting it tattooed above my first Collective Soul logo next week! VERY excited! I will ALWAYS treasure this band!
@@RetroSoulGirl my identical twin brother has his tattoo of shinedown in his right bicep.. Every single member of the band signed his arm. Brent Barry Zack Eric they all did... Even past members that left the band.. The s and d logo all signed around his arm.... Own your choice. Fuk what they say.. I myself have no tats but I love this band always have. So cheers for you and your dedication. Love it.!!
@rebecca rosenbaum lol. I just bought the 7 year itch greatest hits album so my 10 year old daughter can learn why we are here typing the shit we do... Cheers to you as well. 💯🥃🍺👍
This performance by Collective Soul was extremely outstanding. Thank you for the fantastic interview and thank you Collective Soul for all the amazing music and brilliant performances. You have mastered your craft. Your music has meant so much to all of us fans. Thanks Print Shop for posting this kick ass video. Keep rocking!
the best intimate jam session ive seen and heard!. better than any MTV or VHS -1 has ever put out. imho :)
Saw these guys with Tonic and Better than Ezra. Great show.
One of the greatest bands out of the atlanta area. I always thought that their management never promoted their band well enough. Awesome band, awesome songs, awesome sound.
Great to hear old dudes my age can still burn it down.
The best guys I've ever meet in my life. Collective soul Will be always my favorite band.
@Jon Oz wonderful story & masterpiece of a memory. Thanks for sharing. It’s beautiful.
There must be a camera for Johnny Rabb only. Man what a drummer. Total legend
You're not kidding! I nearly fell off my seat when I recognized him!
Don't say this band is old you can still hear them on bikers club and on the road. Collective Soul never dies \m/,
Faith restored in music! Thank you Collective Soul!

Still an awesome and amazing band! 25 years strong! Keep the music going boys!
Did not know this level of energy was possible while sitting down!! Fantastic playing and the video/sound is awesome
They will eventually be in the rock and roll Hall of Fame. Timeless!
Darryl Smith no chance.
Well it might not be in the next 10 years, but somebody said that about Rush and look how long it took
And not comparing them to rush, but they do have a great body of work
Darryl Smith I agree, but no one cares about them outside people like you and me. They aren’t thought of as the kind of band who would make it into the rock and roll hall of fame. They are very under appreciated. Rush was never under appreciated. CS are like the forgotten middle child from the 90’s. One of the best bands no one ever talks about. It’s too bad.
Yeah, probably just wishful thinking on my part
Say what!!!? A print shop the has live music from big names. Love this live series. It's a dream to have a print shop with a stage for local and national bands. Almost pulled the trigger on an old venue not to far from us, but pulled back because of the Covid shutdown.
Love Collective Soul and learned so much from these interviews between the songs. Sub'd!
Very underrated band. I have all their albums
Saw them for first time in Queenstown,NZ, and they were incredible.
What a band and the tunes are just so good, hit after hit.
They are in my top ten bands of all time now, love them
Roger that - saw them a few days later in Hamilton and am now contemplating booking tickets to see them in the US they were so good! Listen to them every day since the gig in Jan and it’s not July!!
This band sounds so FULL. I have no other way to describe it. Everything just sounds good.
I was just sitting here thinking this is a studio album quality performance. These guys' playing is phenomenal.
This band's sound in my opinion was the epidome of the 90's. The World I Know, Shine, Where the River Flows was all over the radio and I will always associate these songs with that time period. World I know is an example of a perfect song. Musically, lyrically, verse, chorus, outro....inspired.
Legends
I could listen a thousand years and never tire of December
hey hey. thanks for the kind words!! I agree.. CS is awesome.. Adam
PASSION from all the guys! Pure PASSION! God bless this is soon over and you’re back on TOUR!
“E”.....totally enamoured! Magnificent version of Shine!
It’s really cool that Dean was able to step forward a little bit. He was even turned up a hair on the mixing board. Great band, good chemistry, awesome tunes!
I love Collective Soul! They were the last band I saw before all touring stopped. They are one of my favorites and this video is awesome!
Same! In Nashville for me
@@Fyfe27 march 2 at the ryman ftw
Wife and I had tickets for front row center for the National Cherry Festival concert up in Traverse City, MI for July 11 but, alas, it was C19 cancelled. PLEASE TRY AGAIN in 2021!!
Yes, we were lucky too, St. Pete...
Same. Free show New Years 2019 Mobile Al amazing. Just gave it their all.
Love these guys. One of the best bands today.
I just stepped into this-WOW- have been trying all these years to figure out who did “Shine” and now I know. These guys are really awesome!!!!!! More CD’s to purchase❤️
*There's a lot of GREAT bands from the 90's* ❤️
Watch the video when they were younger. This is all I played and December ❤
“Heavy” is sooooo cathartic for me...as well as the lyrics/vocals/guitar solo! Gets all my frustrations out!!! 🙏🏼🌈 (especially now!!)☮️
I Absolutely LoVe HeAvY!!!
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, SOUNDS BETTER THAN EVER
so nice hearing the guys talk about Bill Turpin. Such an icon in the GA/ATL music scene. Some of my favorite music projects back in the day were working on a few of their gigs. So glad I ran across this today.
I LOVE COLLECTIVE SOUL , THEY JUST KNOW HOW TO ROCK HARD WITH ALL THEIR SOUL :)
I am 41 since i listen this band all songs to 5th grade and now to play a fm station killer bee and nu 107
One of the best band i ever know, always clean and smooth when they perform live. just Awesome.
Collective Soul AMAZING as usual
I was in university boarding house back in 2001 and my friend played the song, Run. And i said, waooowww.... I like the lyrics, music, emotion and touch in their music...
COLLECTIVE SOUL YOU GUYS ROCK. FOREVER YOURS!!!
Oooo im watching this again.....i just love you guys!
One the best band in 90's ,their songs never gets old, love this band so much ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you CS for all your music you’ve given us. Always liked Collective Soul, reckon when I die, I’ll get World I know played. As. a 50 year old Just makes you stop and think of your own mortality.
LOVE it! One of the best interviews and best sets ever! Keep on bringin' on! Helps to keep the COVID blues away until you guys are back on the road again. Thank you for sharing!
🙌🎵 #CollectiveSoul ❤️🙌🌟🎶
Sending all of you guys #Love❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ & #Hugs🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Fr: 🇫🇮 💙 🇵🇭
The band is still tight. Awesome performance
I used to cruise around when I was 16 in my ‘82 Chev truck with Collective Soul playing over & over. I’m 36 now and still do it. Still have the same truck. Classic.
Awsome presentation. The guys are flying. What an energy. Over Me is a blast, TWIK is one of the most beautiful song ever and sounded specially powerful here. And Dean said exactly what I thought: authentic interview, it went through like a real conversation between friends, extracting the good stuff. Thanks for this, it´s gold. Hugs from Brazil.
I was living in North Caroline when Shine came out on the radio. I have been a fan ever since. Thanks for the jams, you guys seem like somewhat normal people for rock stars and our backgrounds have a lot in common.
Hey guys thank you so much… !!!!!There’s not one single song that is played by you guys that I don’t know all the words to…… Thank you thank you thank you ha ha Ha !!!!!
Long time in business, never on the high end top, but always good music. Thanks for many good songs and years together :-)
Seen CS at one of their first shows after covid restrictions started easing. Was great to see them and they were very happy to be on stage again.
This song brings people to Faith in JESUS. Well done!
Great band. They really transmite feelings and makes you travel to the childhood
My late husband's favorite group. He introduced me to their music in 1995 and I've loved them ever since. I'm certain he's listening to them and playing and singing their songs in heaven.
My best band forever! I. Love they song n still singing their song! Keep healthy guys
Wow. Went to a couple concerts back 20 years ago. This band has only gotten better.
I’ve seen them twice live. The last being in Athens Ga at the Georgia Theater . I ran to the bus and Will was hanging out on the sidewalk . I’m from SC and have been a huge CS fan since HInts, etc was released. Like a dumbass I said, oh my you are the drummer right????? Then it hit me he played bass and I KNEW that! I knew every word to every song! I was slightly embarrassed but each time it’s been a religious experience!!!!!!!! Love “Blood”. They never disappoint! ❤️
December will always be my favorite song but recently discovered VENT AHHH LOVE THAT HARD BAD ASS SONG.
That's one of the most UNDERRATED SONGS ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen to that mean ass guitar solo!
Lol he messed up the lyrics a little I think. Idk it also sounds like he purposely did it. Not complaining just thought it was interesting
@@MichaelMyers-pj2uk He said part of the second verse during the first and fumbled the first chorus.
I saw them live at the Power Station in Auckland New Zealand. They were so good! When you see raw talent up close like that you immediately know you are in the presence of something special. They were really popular here in NZ. The Collective Soul album became our "skiing Album". Ask any of my kids and they could sing you any song off that album...We'd play it as we drove up the mountain, we'd play it in the carpark with all the doors open as we put our gear on. We'd play it at lunchtime when we all met up back at the car. Then we'd play it all the way back to our house at the bottom of the mountain. And, we'd play it LOUD! Those poor kids never had a chance. 30 years later and they still all love that album and the awesome times associated with it. . So good to see the boys still doing such a fine job. Thanks for having them over to your place to share with us. That was special 🙂
This is great. Thanks for sharing it. I've been following them for ... a long time. Ed and the band sound better as the years go by. These songs bring some great memories. As someone said, one of the most underrated bands. Keep it going! Can't wait to see them live.
They were my first concert ever, saw them back in 96, they rock then and still do.
Best current band, one of the best bands ever!
Amazing musicians!!! I've always loved this band but watching them perform sets a new awareness of how talented they truly are! ❤️
I'm an old fart...and I love these guys!
One of my fav bands in the 90s until now. Glad they ended up with Johnny Rabb behind the kit!
Je découvre ! Tres tres bon groupe de rock🎸😍
YES COLLECTIVE SOUL MY JAM
Love the logo...and yes, same here. 😊
You (old) guys aren’t the only ones. LOL! I’m 61 and they headlined a free New Years Eve concert on the streets in downtown Mobile, AL 3 years ago. We went thinking it would be fun to see a classic rock band who had a couple of good hits( I knew 3). They blew us away! They were a band that was very much still relevant. I went home and started listening to all of their albums and had one of those “Where the F have I been moments”. LOL.
If you want another real treat watch Ed perform it all solo acoustic (and get interviewed) from the print shop as well.
Last song is called "Smile". This include half & half!
12:12 🥰 guitarist 🥰 and then the Vocals- 😘
I LOVE THIS BAND SINCE THE FIRST ALBUM AND NEVER EVER STOPPED
So happy to see Ed still doing his thing. Been a long time. Check out the Collective Soul in Morocco video from back in the day.
This is the first time I’ve heard “over me”. Man that song rocks
I was 61 when I discovered them. 63 and still banging my head to them!!!
Awesome!! Can’t beat them’ harmonies!!!!!! 💯
Ed should never get old. man, 1990s still feels like yesterday.
A year after my son died (from a very hard life), I went to see a medium to see if I could hear from him. She said he was so excited to make contact with me that he had been giving her messages for 2 days before I arrived. Then he sent me Collective Soul's song, "Better Now" ....a very healing moment for me. Thank you, CS!
Still one of my all around favorite bands
Saw them live in 2000, love collective soul!
Still fantastic!!!!! I saw you in 1996! You were all so nice, happy, smiling people. It was a great performance in Edmonton Alberta!!
Awesome sound quality!! Great line-up. ❤️
Collective Soul is the BEST rock band to come out of the Grunge era still rocking!!! I listen to ALL their albums (MP3's that is) in shuffle mode while I am cruising around town and relaxing at home. Live at The Print Shop: great video, great sound and great interview. Keep up the good work! I hit the SUBSCRIBE button and the "bell" icon.
What an amazing band, songs, moment, lyric and everything you have...greeting from Indonesia
still lovely voice
Absolutely phenomenal guys! I've seen you in concert a few times and you just keep getting better.
They are the best bsnd.

Great band!!! Miss the nineties...
Heck yeah!!!! Checking out a bunch of Collective Soul's tunes some that I have forgotten and or haven't heard in years but re-aquainting for the show with THC, this gonna be a kickass show!! November 5, 2022 in Lubbock, Tx., tickets available and very affordable especially for 4 bands including Soul and THC!!!! Get it!!!!
collective soul band never die good job and sucses
This is mind blowing. I'm so incredibly grateful for the band to do this. Damn they get better "gel" as the gig moves on. LOVE IT He is feeling it again. So damn amazing. Love that reunion vibe.
It's been over a year since my wife, friends and I were able to see Collective Soul (2 shows November 2019 at Niagra Falls). We were fortunate to be able to travel to Atlanta this weekend and catch their last 2 shows at the Coca Cola Roxy. Adam was a couple of tables over from us and Ed gave him a shout-out during both concerts and told the crowd where to go to see this interview (and others) ... glad he did.
This is a great interview and intimate concert session with the band! It's interesting to hear their individual stories as to how each of them became a member of the band. Well done!
Love their new album so much as well as all the others and CDs
Such a full sounding band. I love all the guitars. I wish I could convince other musicians in bands I’ve been in to go for it. #Morethanoneguitarisgreat
I can't get over (Over Me) live!!!!! Mindblowingly Hard Rock
Kinda funny although Collective Soul was a 90's Rock Band, they absolutely "Nailed" that whole 60's 70;t Power Chord Guitar Sound that I hadn't heard since the days of the Who. And classic Zep. That's what hooked me on this band. So to me they were a truly great ROCK BAND no decade specific, or Genre specific. Just flat out great rock music.
The world i know, what a beautiful song!
COLLECTIVE SOUL !!!! BIG FAN HERE !! Never Forget When They Played Here On MTV events in the FORT
She Said...... an anthem of youth.
Great as always, like the Wine, better with the years
Great show and interview of one of my favourite bands of all time. Even after all these years, Shine playsed live still gives me chills.
I have the soundtrack in my trip aroud baja, Mexico. Beatiful memories in 90´s. Thank you for the music!! i loved the new sound!
