I had a 92 LX 5.0 Mustang when I was young. I loved that car so much. These kits mean so much to me. Every time lately that Hobby Lobby has their 40% off sale I grab one of these kits. Great kits.
Most of us is here to have fun. Thanks Frank
Frank! you are knocking them out of the park with your video content
What an amazing job, Frank! Extremely impressive job, and that's coming from someone who doesn't even LIKE that version of the Mustang. Awesome job, Frank.
That’s a mean Mustang! Love that engine bay!
that is the great custom 1990 mustang love the red on it frank
Frank, outstanding build. The engine bay details are spot on. 😃
I love the fact that there's a builder who enjoys the hobby not the politics. Thanks Frank.
Best looking version of that kit I have seen yet. Great work!
Another amazing model. Great job Frank. If I had half your talent I’d be a great modeler.
Fantastic Build !
Gorgeous build!
Beautiful work. Great result. Always enjoy your videos
Frank you did a great job on that Mustang. I built on and I remember it as a fun kit. I worked at Ford in the 1990s - Mustangs were very popular. Some of the mechanics and body shop guys had fox bodies they modified, raced, and did all kinds of things with. It was a crazy time LOL The body looks ok to me and I used to see them nearly everyday.
Beautiful build Frank, your videos never disappoint. Great job!
Great video sir! My son bought me that same kit and I'll be building it as a street machine. Always have loved the 1:1 Fox bodied Mustangs and it's one of the ones that I have never owned. Maybe one day, but my son told me, Okay dad, here's your Fox! Funny kid.
Frank great job brother ❤😊
Turned out awesome, builds up nice as box stock, great looking build Frank!
Great work on the Mustang, remember boys and girls there just models to have FUN with, thanks for shairing Frank!
Got 2. Gutting both for other cars. Upside is that the box has enough parts to complete L/X police cars...😁
GR8 vid, many thanx 👍👍
Wow what an amazing build
You are great to watch, keep up the awesome work! From a retired Canuck. P.S. you do make me laugh and smile!
I have a few of these kits and I never noticed it being out of proportion, but I'm a Chevy dude and maybe I never looked close enough
They are a really nice looking kit
Amazing build my friend, looks super clean, and tuff 💪 🍻🍻🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘👍🏔🏔🌨🌨❄️
Nice looking build. I’m surprised the stock front suspension is included in the kit. That is really nice of Revell to do that. Thanks for sharing.
That's what has me sold on this kit... having the stock suspension is huge... I have at least 3 projects that front end would be awesome on....
@@roberthill2219 Yes it is huge.
That is one of my favorite kits! You did a great job on it, but then again you do a great job on everything!!
agreed!!
Dang Feller, That Jewel is Sweet. That almost looks like you could walk up, open the door and make a pass. Killer Build Sir!!!
That came out awesome. I'll keep the decal tip in mind when I ever get around to building mine. I love the Fox body Mustang. Thanks for sharing.
gooder stuff Frank jus got this kit 2 days ago got a soft spot for mustangs yeah i could pick at it but not very many models got together and look perfect😁🤩scooter 😎ps thx nice build love the color and now im getting a game plan for my interior🤪🤣😅
Very nice build frank.
Finally a honest builder on U Tube ! If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck ..... ! It looks like a Mustang LX to me ! Forget the rivet counters out there who never show their builds, but whine all the time about a kit's accuracy. Very clean build my friend. Cheers.
I remember the dust-up on that car, it was when it came out in 2013. Roof chopped by two scale inches, the same as that '69 Charger. Revell corrected the Charger, but not the Mustang. So I did a corrected un-chopped master, and at least 150 have been sold over the years. I only wanted to do one for me, but the call came to resin cast it, so that was my big intro to the frantic and laborious resin world.
Your version of the fox body drag car looks phenomenal Frank! It makes me want to get mine out and start building it. Personally if the roof is a little lower I probably like it better. 😎👍
I would had like to gotten one of those. I know you did a great job on it. Cause, that's what you do. 😉👍
Very clean build Frank. Honestly, I think Revell's version looks better with the lowered roof than Ford's version.
Killer Car! I hope someday to have such skill.
Came out very nice. Can’t wait to get back to modeling and shooting my CZcams vids, have been sidelined for the best 2 weeks with a cellulitis infection on my legs. So just been laying here watching videos and yours my friend makes me smile.
Very nice Frank
that fox body looks awesome I have couple of these Id love to build it soon i also have the AMT i wanna build it stock like my brothers car white with red interior & thank you🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice stang!!!!!!!
I agree. Generally speaking, if it looks like the car, I'm happy. I wouldn't know the proportions unless it was grossly off. In the end, do I like how the model looks when it's done? Yes or no.
Roof was a little short, but couldn't complain since it was 1/25 scale detailed Fox Body.
Nice job! It's hard to build box stock, at least for me, I always want to modify stuff.
That turned out great Frank!. Love the color. Yeah, that body has "Something" going on. I sometimes wonder if its something that is creating an optical illusion. Because ive seen builds where it dies look like a chop top. And there are times it looks fine. Like yours. It looks right. IDK. I want to build one. And Im going to just do it.
Great job, Bud.
I bought 2 of these kits about a year ago when I went with my wife to Hobby Lobby…they had a 20% off sale on everything in the store….ive owned probably 14-16 Fox bodies over the years (don’t feel like figuring out exactly 😅) so you’d say I’m a fan of the fox body…😂
Haven’t even put one together yet cause I’m mostly into 1/10 scale Rc cars/trucks…..I just think it’s a cool model!
Awesome build Frank, great job. I really like the color. I built my foxbody and i really enjoyed building it. I would like to build a couple more. I would build a stock LX, a full blown drag car, i would also like to build the SSP cop car version 👍😎
Nice job!
Beautiful....I'm not sure what is supposedly wrong with the body, but, like you said, it looks like a fox body Mustang to me. And I own a fox body...Capri. Great looking build, thanks!
Cool looking foxbody!
I think we share the opinion of, if the model is a solid representation of the real subject, that's good enough. I'm too ignorant to know if something is slightly off dimensionally, slightly out of scale, etc. But if I can look at it and immediately know what it is, good enough for me, I'm not going to sweat over a couple scale inches or centimeters. Great looking build as usual, the precision of your work is always enviable! I have this kit somewhere too, so appreciate the advice on how to overcome some of the challenges you encountered.
Awsome Build
I've built the police version of this kit. I was bummed because they cast both of the light bar lenses in red. I ended up using the light bar from the AMT Ford Taurus police car kit.
Oh man the mustang looks awesome, If your patients is of a 4 year old mine is probably a 12 year old. I hate when I build a model and get to a certain point and think yeah this is looking good, then I start looking closer and I see something I missed or messed up on then I want to do the hulk thing and start over again with another kit. But then I start thinking of how much they cost and just bite the bullet and fix it lol.
Great work Frank looks fantastic....saw the front wheels toeing in slightly see what u mean about front suspension
i have a few in my stash, but i dont build them box stock,i turn them into full blown race cars,..ending up tossing out a lot of the basic parts, but seeing how your build came out i may have to build one box stock lol your looks great !
Yeah I see one big problem with this Mustang!!! 11.38? Lol looks awesome Frank.
Great looking build and excellent color choice! Surprised to hear the Revell kit had fit issues 🤔
Just the front suspension, and probably because of my sausage fingers…
I just built that Mustang and the instructions did suck looks great!!
I think the complaint was the roof sat about 1mm too high? Anyways, I still enjoyed this kit and the tubular k frame I had luck with Tamiya extra thin quick set and preassembling before paint. Awesome build nevertheless Frank! Go Frizzo, he’s awesome!!!
I'm with you on a cars dimensions. I wouldn't know if a fender or window was "off" by a couple of inches or even if the motor was wrong. If it's meant to be a duck and looks like a duck then it's good for me. your mustang looks darn good! btw, who is Frizzo?
Thanks Dean! Frizzo is a good friend of a lot of us in the model car community. He’s going through a personal health challenge right now, and a lot of us remind him in every one of our videos that we have his back, no matter what. We tell him that to let him know we’re pulling for him and we’ll do whatever we can to see him through.
Everyone loves him. He’s a great guy, and we want him to know it.
In your bag of tricks, what paint did you use on the interstate battery?
That is Tamiya X-28 Park Green
Thank you I've tried to duplicate one with Testors just don't look right. Appreciate your knowledge!!
11.38? We got Fox bodies like this racing at Bradenton in the 7s... How about one of those resin turbo or Procharger LS motors dropped in this?
It was built “box stock”, meaning I didn’t modify anything that came in the kit. The “11.38” decal came with the kit, so that’s what I used.
@@FranksModelWorks I know... it's a beautiful model...
