Thank you so much for doing this review! This guy is always talking about service dogs but seems to have no understanding of what they actually are. He completely disregards the whole purpose of a service dog and task training that separates a well trained dog from a service dog (at least here in Ontario Canada) This bookstore chain is usually pet friendly but the mall it is in is service animals only which is probably why he brought that up at the end.
my dog is not a service dog but he needed training in order to move from the u.s to peru with me. i took him to places like pet stores and hardware stores to get him used to the airport as well as staying still for long periods of time. each time he chose to sit or lay on leash he would be rewarded but it something that i usually dont ask of him. i also got advice from service dog trainers and owners. travel dogs need to be extremely well behaved due to the unique circumstances that come with traveling with a pet especially a dog. many airlines require pets to wear diapers and be placed under the seat. pets should be well trained when it comes to reliving themselves. many airlines have pet relief stations inside the airport but my dog is so well trained he just held it for 10 hours (i gave him wet food with some water for breakfast and he went before our flight then i gave him the same thing during a layover) and i even spent most of the layover near the relief area and saw multiple dogs use it and still didnt go. once we got out of the airport in lima he took the longest pee and was so happy to be outside.
The two things I hate about his attitude. One, actual trained service dogs are unnecessarily barred from places because the entitlement these people have. Two, he is putting this dog's life in danger because if that dog bites anyone here, he could be put down as a vicious dog.
What a clown. I have a 5-year-old intact male Dogo and we are better than this without the prong collar, clicker, and yanking. My buddy takes naps at dog-friendly bars and restaurants. I guess I should write a book and do videos about how I can take him to CVS and to the 24/7 corner store where I pick up a beer and chips. Yeah, he'll lay down because he's tired from the walk and doesn't need me to tell him to relax.

wow even as far as aversive trainers go he sucks at his mechanics....and he actually put this on film and put it on youtube lol 🤦🏻♀️
