Not every place is full of scams in Morocco, but in the tourist areas of Marrakech, Fez, and Casablanca you will encounter many that can simply ruin your trip and your thoughts about the entire country. I hope one day they eliminate these people from the main square, so that people don't get bad impressions about Morocco.

Marrakech is beautiful I travelled alone I had good experience and bad experience mostly just in the square I Just stayed away from the men with animals I got caught with the henna he shows good and bad in any country I would happily go back again

I'm Moroccan, living abroad, and I completely agree with you about the main square in Marrakesh; those scams need to stop. Watching this video can help visitors understand what to avoid. My wife, who is European, isn't used to those dishonest tactics. So, when we were visiting Morocco, we avoided the square so it wouldn't ruin her experience of the country.

I am go 3 times in Morroco but at Agadir and taghazout. For moment, I don't want go in Marrakech for few reason : First it's see monkey in chain hurt me so much, second reason there are a lot scammer and nobody seems stop this. They could send police and hunt guy who torture monkey because this animal isn't a toys.... Place of monkey is in nature and no in house or street with chain. Charms of Marrakech for my part is loose because when we travel we want peace, we don't want be disturb each 2 meters. Hope they go change this way who is'nt good for tourism.
