He goes through how he positions the ball in his stance, how he grips the club and sets it up behind the ball, as well as his swing thoughts for how to pop that ball up and land it soft exactly how you'd want.

That overhead view with the ball coming into focus at its peak is insane. Oh, and so is Fowler!
I think something a lot of people forget while hitting flops is that you still move through the ball. It makes it much easier than just standing still, flipping your wrists at it and praying. Rickie does this really well with his wedges!
RF...I really love executing flop shots over bunker and stop dead close to pin.I have seen you in person doing this.

Does the club head stay in front of the hands the whole time? At address he has the ball almost outside his front foot and his hands at center. Is that the hand/club position the entire shot?
Does it depend on the grass condition?

Would've been nice to show Rickie in a position where it would make sense to flop it, like over a bunker with not a lot of green to work with lol.
He is short sided here, but for me in this position its a bump and run every day of the week. I'd rather be 12 feet past the hole on a bad bump and run, then be in someones yard after blading a flop.
