So I heard this song for the first time in real life live. She was an opener for Oh Wonder in their first show in CA for 2022. She closed it out with this song.

Also shout out to the guy who was really really into this song. At first I thought it was just a drunk guy who was going to harass the singer, but he genuinely knew the lyrics to the song and he was scream singing up to the top of his lungs. I saw her smile when she saw him singing it. I think the liquid courage help that dude out a lot.
That drunk dude actually enhanced the song for me. I'm pretty sure that guy is straight but he was singing the chorus of "He don't love me!" and it was just funny to me. I think the rest of the crowd got into it too and they started singing along us well.
I am down to watch her live show when she comes back to town again. kinda feels bad that I didn't know her music prior to seeing it live, but it was kind of a cool way to get introduce to a new artist.

This song speaks so many words on my recent relationship. *Sorry in advance for this long story*-
I worked with him, and he used to date someone that we worked with, she was unfortunately in my department. He stated he was interested, hung out for months, everyday. He even ended up passing on two Thanksgiving dinners to stay with me that weekend. For three weeks, around January, we stopped hanging out and he eventually came back, told me that he ended up sleeping with my other coworker that he was "previously" interested in and dated. I accepted it since he ended up telling me instead of just keeping it to himself and we never defined what we were fully were.
Then two weeks later of him making it up to me, being there for me at my beck and call, giving me so many beautiful compliments, even bought me flowers, and proving to me that he didn't have feelings for her anymore; he ended it stating he "didn't feel like trying anymore."
He did it over the phone instead of in person, I was in bed, all day, as I was really sick starting that day. The really messed up thing was that he ended it the same day that the most important person in my life passed away, my grandmother- my last grandparent left. He even knew about her passing, as that was the first thing we talked about on that SAME EXACT phone call.... As I thought I needed him at that time, not just as a significant other, but as a friend.
The worst part about coming back to work a week after the longest, depressing week of being in my grandmother's house knowing she had past, and life wouldn't be the same, I found out he went back to his ex that works in my department. She still to this day had no idea that we were ever a thing, he never told her and no one that we worked with knew about us. I had to live with that depression and sadness and no one understood what I was having to work with. It tore me up and didn't have any sympathy for me and my feelings. So upsetting finding out someones' true colors after you fall for them so hard and feeling you found your person.
Sometimes people do not understand what you go through for their sake. I suggest you take the time and try to recover and stay away from your coworkers. I hope everything works out for you. Maybe this is a new beginning for you and I'm so sorry for your loss. So much love xoxo
