I also hate the filter lands. Not so much because they hurt the brain, they do, but because they don't produce mana, not even colorless. I'd rather play pain lands..

@@stevenkey7183 I kinda feel the same way about the signets for the same reasons. I'm more prone to playing those since I'll necessarily have the lands prior, butt they definitely add to the cognitive load and I often find myself thinking I could have used the manga and then in different, more efficient ways. That said, at some point all that damage between fetches, shocks and pain lands catches up to you.
