For anyone watching this in 2024, the newer model transits seat belt bolt takes a T50. The T55 is still correct for the other two. 😊

Hi do you know how to order a low roof 15 passengers one? I browsed the Ford web and I found that if I want 15 seating I have to accept high roof. High roof is not my type.

Hi Chris - great question. Sorry for the late reply. No, you can NOT "replace a bench seat with just one single seat." They are NOT interchangeable. I wish they were :)

Hi Zaid, yes you can take out all of the seats except the front driver and passenger seats. You will see some of them are quick release and others will require you to unbolt.
Once you remove the back row, is there a way to make the 3rd row (now back row) a full row (i.e. add another seat to the row or reconfigure the seats to make it a full row)?
Unfortunately, you can not. I wish that you could!!!

Hello - great question! If you get some needle nose pliers, you can reach down and grab the silver metal part that those tabs are connected to. Once you grip them with the pliers, you lift up and then it will release. Let me know if this is helpful or if you have any other questions.

That single seat is easy. Remove the two rear plastic covers on the bottom back. Then unbolt both bolts using a torx bit. Boom, that is it! Super easy!
What about the next following row of seats cuz they're not the same
Great question! All of the seats either have the easy pull tabs, or you have to unbolt using the T55 Torx Bit. Same principles apply though.
Nissan NV has a much better seat removal system. Although transit seems to win in other areas
OMG why not make all seats come out with a simple pull up lever? Why not let them all fold down too so cargo can be fit.
Yes, I wish all of them did have an easy pull-up lever! Write Ford a letter :)
