Lice infestations, also known as pediculosis, occur when tiny insects known as lice take up residence on a person's scalp, feeding on their blood and laying eggs (nits) on the hair shafts.
Symptoms:
✔️ Intense itching and irritation of the scalp
✔️ Small white or greyish eggs (nits) attached to the hair shafts
✔️ Small red bumps or sores on the scalp and neck.
Treatments:
✅ Apply 3-5 drops of tea tree oil with coconut oil
✅ Use Permethrin 1% lotion
