Driver was the real beast: saw and killed Undead, saw and killed demons, and never ran away.
Haha, yeah I'd be out of there as soon as I saw the arm in the fridge!
The fact that after fighting off a horror monster he finds a weird hole in the basement floor and his immediate reaction is to crawl in is just wild. Zero fear to be found in this dude.

"Zero fear to be found in this dude."
That's what the screenwriter decided. Everyone wants to live - and such flawed criminal elements even more so - in real life he would have long ago driven away in his car at second space speed, instead of getting into some hole.
@@denisdenisov7623I totally agree.
Cause it's Ryan Gosling?)
This is a new game from the creator of Shining Street 21, an incredibly weird horror game I covered 2 years ago (you actually see some of it when the kid is playing his game on the couch). It's also related to The Hole, a short game I covered in a Tales of Terror multi-game video last year. I've linked both at the end of the video if you want to check them out. :)
Shout out to Billy for being a good friend, calling 911 for his friend and pushing the issue even when the operator was being an ass.
Very cool, love the style! Also for those wondering, the Chinese text in front of the table/kitchen island literally just says “Mr Strauss’ kitchen”, I’m guessing the game dev was concerned people wouldn’t realize where they were in the house, or leftover labelling stuff haha
It would be funny if there was a spinoff where it was just Billy and Cody being left home alone with the zombie older brother.
By that time zombie bro should be sane so the three just do things like staying up late, eating pizza past midnight, and watching horror movies.
What's up with fictional 911 operators being the SHITTIEST people at their job?
"My friend saw someone outside of his house and then stopped responding to me!"
"Yeah yeah, nice prank. Keep this line open for REAL emergencies."
It's because the writer wanted so. Maybe he wanted us to be revolted at the operator's attitude, or to be momentarily scared by the possibility of the boy not geting help because of the operator's irresponsibility.
Let’s be realistic here, if 911 operators in fiction were competent in their jobs, they wouldn’t need superheroes and most horror movies with serial killers would be gunned down in seconds.
"My grandma fell down the stairs and now she won't wake up! ...no, this is not a prank!"
2D Horrors like these are games that I could play hundreds of times and still get scared to death.
Very cinematic, and the music adds a lot! Thanks for the great find, Bobbert!
I feel like this is my slightly patchy memory-summary of a really great 90-minute film. Dripping with style, this thing.
Todays lesson: always bring the strap, and if that don’t work use more straps
Incredibly deep horror experience. All set feel like interactive movie or book. Incredible story that grip from start to end with really cool reveal. Really good horror indie-gem game.
Loved this. Very cool looking.
Ah yes, it's Kevin from Home(icide) Alone
Rotoscoped, but the overall animation doesn't feel like it at all.
Yeah, this developer always has a unique style that feels like a blend of rotoscoping and flash games. I really like it. :)
The game may be bizarre but it still looks fun.
Wholesome ending.
I don't like home invaders.
That repeating xylophone is driving me insane
If Richard Laymon books were video games
Beers of war is crazy
It reminds me of sift heads
By looking at the title; "BROTHER", it feels like your normal horror movie.
If translates to Japanese/Chinese romaji(?), it will turn to this; "ANIKI/GÊGÊ". (If i get that Chinese right...)
I want a movie based on this game. Does anyone know exactly the same plot?, not close, reminiscent, but exactly like the subject.
Now WTF wuz THAT??! 😅
Well this reminds me somehow of South Park xD
ABG: Turns out she was just a neck-romancer.
Monster: YOU THOUGHT, N-
Fun fact: in the most part of mangas I read, the parents always stay away from home for hours, even a whole day/night. I've thought that was a convenience of the screenwrithing but I think this really something IRL, cuz people's so busy today. So, was soon the game started I thought how this(not the supernatural part) could happen IRL, and that thought scared me.
what is with the inexplicable mixing of Chinese and Japanese culture here
The dev appears to be Japanese and it's not a new thing for them to have their own take on Chinese culture, nevermind that there's plenty of intertwined folklore. Even today there's plenty of culture sharing. Could even be it's a Japanese person living and working in China or vice versa.
What's with westerners being uneducated and thinking cultures can't intertwine, and almost all countries have similar or straight up same cultures from each other.
yeah and all the main characters appear to be Caucasian lol
Call policeman!
But not for me
The writing is very bad
Game is wayyyy too dark. I get the atmospheric tension using darkness, but this needs a bit more polish.
