The sad part is that the funniest things will probably be patched out. This game had so much potential and yet Dice managed to deliver something less than BF4.

Currently in the Marines 1/3 infantry battalion and I personally know someone affected by being in the back blast of a Carl Gustav. Absolutely a dangerous effect on the battlefield.

Hey did you guys know the default pistol has an alternative burst fire mode? You can literally have the G17 from battlefield 4 in your secondary slot on any class, and you can get a 27 round extended mag pretty easily, but for ammo I suggest the subsonic rounds because they ignore more damage falloff than close combat ammo.

i remember back in battlefield 4, if you had the javelin as engineer and a buddy as recon that ran the laser designator, you could paint air vehicles and use the javelin on them in a similar fashion to how you can in this game

Dice: Let's get rid of c4 launching vehicles, although this is pretty harmless, fun is not allowed.
Also Dice: Let's Allow an extremely broken OP UCAV drone to dominate the vehicles without counterplay.

Fun fact: Dozer with his shield out can stop tank shells and even survive being rammed by a tank at full speed.

On the topic of AP rounds not damaging tanks and stuff, it's kinda accurate to real life. AP rounds from small arms do decent damage to basically anything else that isn't a tank due to how little armor they have AKA helis anti-air and such

Oh also for players watching this and not knowing about grinding in AI before: You can no longer do the Kaleidoscope method since they put the point down to the ground. Howver you can now go on Orbital, capture the first point and then camp on the building on the right side B point and shoot AI from the roof. Just make sure you dont shoot too many and take e.g. Angel for infinite ammo and potential to switch weapon loadouts mid-grind
So I heard that after 350 they stop counting but if you end the game and come back does it reset?
@@Cat-ig3vw the game stops counting bot kills towards unlocks after 350, aka when you get all attachments and get the third (out of five) level badge for the gun or item. Basically all it does is stop you from getting the max level badge and the skin that comes with it.

I used to main Casper for the C5/Drone combo alone. It was easily one of the most OP tactics in gaming history. I felt like I was the only one who knew about it because almost every time I operated a tank I never got killed by it, the tactic was only used on me once. I would easily get "most vehicles destroyed" on nearly every match and average 8 vehicle related kills (those MAVs were big targets). I was very surprised it took DICE so long to patch it, the C5/Drone combo was criminally overpowered. It was so unfair that I should be placed in a maximum security prison for doing it

K bullets were usefull in BF1 for this exact reason (You needed a team of people to make them effective though). 3 K bullets to the tracks would disable the tracks, 3 K bullets to the engine block would disable the engine, you get the idea.

Yeah honestly playing dozer is pretty funny, especially if you run a build based around getting people to run away. Developed a little tactic where I walk towards someone until they run away then I pull out an smg and perforate them when they turn around. Basically this build plays like reverse fnaf.

in Portal if you take the 1942 explosives you can still catapult vehicles. Still hugely disappointing to not include for C5 (which btw is absolutely ridiculous to call futue C4 C5)
C 5 would just mean that they added a new component, wich isnt ridiculous at all, it just means that there is a reason to have the explosive contain 5 things instead of 4.

I did a tiny bit of research and apparently C4 is called C4 because that is the class of explosives (composition c-4) and so maybe in the future the developed c5.

Logically, the next iteration will be called Composition C no. 5, or C5 for short.

The unfortunate part of AP rounds is they did way more damage in the beta and got nerfed for the actual release
To be fair they were absolutely busted in beta. One dude with an LCMG could kill a tank or get damn close to it.

AP rounds to shred people using plates and maybe make helicopters fuck off by shooting them? Sure. But damaging heavy armoured vehicles? Hell na.

I would like to point out that the person who said snipers don’t run up to people irl, you are wrong. In ww1 and 2, the Springfield rifle, which is technically a sniper, was used by soldiers to run up to people and shoot them from afar sort of or use the bayonet on it

I agree that the SOFLAM is "S" tier, however, I don't think there's enough personal benefit to incentivize the vast majority of players to use it.
the major issue is that 2042 doesn't feel like it's incorporating teamplay by design, instead everyone literally gets to play cod in bf now,
pick whatever they want (often the meta)and only focus on their own grind for new skins, which used to be attachments.

So what I hear is that the NTW-50 is like the Martini Henry of BF1 - slow velocity, slow reload, but fun as hell to use and instakills in its effective range regardless of what part you hit - plus the added anti-tank capabilities that K-bullets cannot provide
I do agree, I never played 2042 but bf1 I can see what your talking about, only real use of k-bullets are against sentry’s and low health tanks while ntw can challenge med and even full hp tanks
