we back!!
So glad you're covering this! Thank you Haxsama
Seems empty without Maeve, i dunno.
This show is so damn good!! I’m glad you’re covering it!!
Truly
Good to see you back @HaxDogma, I have yet to watch your "silencing bytes" video but I will get there soon enough. This is a great series for you to analyze, and your analysis has bested the two other amazing channels I watch for that kind of content. I hope you soldier onward and build you channel back up.
Lfg! I love your thoughtful examinations of nuanced shows like this.
YES, so glad you are doing Shogun
For John suicide is clearly a tabu, which is notable as back in the day, as it is now, both for Catholics and Protestants, suicide is a cardinal sin which will close any acces to a good afterlife. It is highlighted because it contrasts with the Japanese approach to death and suicide as portrayed in the series.
You write beautifully. Thank you for all you do! I watched all of your episodes on Westworld when I was watching it and I just started Shōgun and was so happy to see you've covered it as well.
Being told that I write beautifully means so much to me. Thanks for being here ❤️🔥
Yup...I remember KEKechita very well =)
LOL
I suggest you read the book. It's amazing!!
Loving this show
It's honestly so good, can't believe I waited to start watching it!
YESSSSS
Can we get much higher!
You must have watched Ahsoka lately. 🙂
You are wrong about suicide in the european/christian perspective. It was a mortal sin. People who died by their own hand were denied to have a funeral and grave on sacred ground. That's the main cause John can't understand the japanese way of death as a choice.
Suicide is a sin in european/ christian perspective because you are denying the life that God gave to you as a gift. So, if you commit suicide, you do not reach Heaven.
This is what ive been waiting for from you.
i loved the contrast from the schemes and reality of the world to power full mans here against the occidental way where the rulers seem to be always dumb and where the real power is wield by lower rank man that have they own plans when here is a real status struggle, amazing tv show and amazing as always hax!
I've never heard someone butcher OSAKA like you 😅
You ARE human after all, Hax
(That's a reference to your damn robot-like powers of deduction and foresight with your unmatched WESTWORLD videos... 😢😢😢 smh... I STILL can't get over they canceled it with just one more to go...AND no one else has picked it up
Ridiculous)
And he is back ❤
Its funny when they speak "portuguese" - not a word! 😂😂😂
Talvez seja demasiado complexo aprender a língua e ensinar os actores a fazê-lo. Que pena!
