I would too, a hobby mechanic is a world away from that level of experience needed to do it safely and correct to OEM standards.

I think this is a good idea. I know it's early days and I like the conversation format but that will probably get boring quickly. Don't remove it completely but maybe keep it shorter. Mainly I think you need to present it. Show the key areas, explain what you're going to do about it and then clips of the repair, another segment could be you sourcing parts. Each person can present their role or area of work. Even pair up ant and dec style. It'll be more editing but I think you know that with this style of channel. Mat Armstrong does this well, but you're own style will be good as well. You've proved it with the housing stuff. Look forward to seeing this grow.

This is going to be very exciting. I watch quite a few channels already who rebuild crash damaged cars. When Mat Armstrong rebuilt an M4, that was very good so I'm sure this will be really good to watch!

People always regret what they DIDN'T do, not what they tried to do.
If these guys don't know how to use a jig, measuring equipment and have good experience of using them you could be in trouble pretty quickly. As capable as they may be mechanically frame alignment is not as simple to notice or repair as some channels make it appear to be.
This seems like the natural way to go. I hope it goes really well for you Matt. The mechanics seem like good blokes and I know there are some real wins to be had in this game, especially when you can find the right network who can give you a head's up. Go for it

You always think along my lines. I tried the same a few years ago and it was a success. I tried opening a CZcams channel, too, showing my progress. It's extremely difficult to film and work alone. I'll subscribe to your new channel.

I cant wait to see the bill for this one, I used to work in Accident repair, I'm sure they will do fine, Id never be a buyer, poor resale and I prefer no abuse for safety reasons, there is no cutting corners for a proper job, Good Luck to you all, I know you will do it right which is what a car like this needs.

I think a wheeler dealer eque format would really suit you as youre great at finding deals and good at talking. Theres a bunch of channels doing this kind of thing, I think this other format would be more unique and a bit more fun to watch.
The reason I watch your cheap car videos is because you see the before and after in a rather short period of time and only see the highlights and price breakdowns, I think an element if that in this new channel would be great too.

Sounds like more than a quick buff and a number plate uplift will be needed on any damage repairs. Great to hear true Manc/Liver accents, hope we won't need a translator sometimes.

“Salvage Rebuilds UK” showed us a BMW parts supplier that have everything in all colour in a massive site somewhere… can’t remember exactly where…but they would help out with that…🤔
