  • As seen on Dutch TV program Neon (VPRO), way back in 1979. Pretty sure this was recorded on the New Pop Festival in Rotterdam. Boy do they look young!

you're right, This is the best way to play the song. But the cure has had over 40 years of great music since then. They really have had a remarkable career, and they're still going. How may of their contemporaries are still playing? I'm not talking about some reunion tour after 30 years either. The Cure have been playing and producing albums non-stop since 1979.
