We are a distributor of pumps, packaged pumping systems, on-site wastewater treatment equipment, on-site wastewater treatment systems, and custom electrical control panels for water and wastewater applications, water well supplies, drilling supplies, and water treatment equipment.
Thank you, me and my coworker were sent to work on a Lift Station and weren’t left the wiring diagrams, so this helps.
Glad it helped
Where would the redundant float wire up on a 3 float system?
i putting in two float system one to run pump and one for the alarm.
Another great video. Thank you! Quick question: If I did want to run 2 circuits to this box for the advantages you described (one for the panel to keep the alarm alive & one dedicated to the pump) could I achieve this with a 12/3 wire from the panel; A hot to each panel breaker and then jump the neutral at the N terminals? Or would it require two separate 12/2 wires so that that each leg would have a dedicated neutral? Please let me know if you would and thanks again for all of the great videos you make!
You will need two dedicated circuits from your main panel for each circuit in the control panel. They need to be dedicated so that if the breaker in the main panel trips the other still work.
How to hook up the third float please?
I have an old Orenco AHW panel and am getting a soft alarm sound with no light. Septic guys said pump tank was fine and when he pulled up on the high water float the alarm was loud. When I put my meter on the terminal block I get about 10.8V between Neutral and hot coming back from the float. Any reason for low voltage to get back from the float to the control box like that? Maybe a wiring issue in the splice box? Could it be something simpler like with the switch or even the speaker itself since they are all in the circuit as well?
Most likely a loose connection or water in the splice box. Occasionally it could mean the float is going bad too.
@@RCworstwater I am having the same issue. Chirpy intermittent alarm and dull light. Redid the connections with the blue wire nuts with the dielectric grease inside. So far so good
